We visited Gokarna last week and stayed at Nimmu House. We had booked a room with three beds. We took an overnight Airavata bus from Mysore which dropped us at the Gokarna bus stand at around 09:00 hrs. We had breakfast at a restaurant on Car Street and then walked to Nimmu House. It is less than a kilometer from the bus stand. The property has a nice garden and from our room balcony, we get a view of the Gokarna Main Beach which is barely 50 meters away. The rooms are spacious clean and comfortable. Bathrooms are clean with good anti-skid floor tiles. There is running hot water from the Solar Water heater plus each room has its own geyser (water heater). The housekeeping team is very efficient and courteous. All sheets and towels are changed every day. There is a restaurant on the second floor with a variety of items on their menu. We had the usual north indian dishes which were very good. Their pizzas were excellent too. Though there was room service, we preferred to dine at the restaurant. Nimmu house is also just 30 meters from the main temple of Gokarna - the Mahabaleshwara Temple. We had a very pleasant stay and we will definitely come to Gokarna and stay at Nimmu House. Highly recommended!!!…
