Decided to write this as I’m sat having the most amazing breakfast they include with your stay. Choice of super fresh fruit and cereals or your choice of eggs. Or half and half! Arrived super last minute after a long road trip from Mumbai and was welcomed by Oli the manager, super nice dude who made us feel welcome and brought out a cold beer for me to cool down with. Him and his wife run the place with German efficiency (he’s from Germany) and the local staff are excellent. Really nice guys. We decided to go for the cottage, which was absolutely lovely. Clean and well presented, with everything you need when in a warm climate. Situated in a beautiful garden with winding paths that lead you around, I couldn’t have been happier with our stay here. Thanks from Max and Deepika
It's quite different from the other resorts that we stayed as it's devoid of modern amenities like TV, refrigerator and AC. It encourages one to enjoy nature and of course Yoga. Rooms are well maintained. Kudle beach is walkable..200 metres. Resort to go for to those who want to detox.
We a family of four with our Golden Retriever in attendance stayed on this property for 3 nights Christmas 2021. Located just 5 minutes walk from Kudle beach Gokarna this is a compact place at the same time providing ample privacy to guests. It is thickly wooded with tall trees and flowered plants all round keeping the surroundings shaded and cool. The rooms are neat and bathrooms clean and dry.The food (only breakfast is served) was decent. Apart from rooms & cottages there si a tree house as well for those adventurously inclined. There is a nook for guests to just to laze and catch a nap or enjoy some reading from the collection of books in the rack. Special mention must be made of Oliver, who happens to be a German and his wife who manage this property A ot of attention has been paid to keep up the ambience. Also the staff VInod and Prashant are ever polite and helpful to make the guests feel comfortable at all times. If one is looking to spend some quality time to unwind and relax this is the right place. I would definitely like to revisit if an opportunity were to arise.…
This is my first 'one star' review on TripAdvisor, so it must have been an extremely negative experience. I will try to brief We are a travel service that booked and paid Namaste Yoga Farm on behalf of our clients in October for a booking in January. We paid as asked by the owner, Oliver at approx Euros 100 a night for a three night booking (Euros 300 approx). We had booked the small tree house. A few days before the check in date we noticed a sharp drop in price on booking.com and found the large tree house (a higher category room) for approx euros 70 a night. We politely inquired with Oliver if that was a mistake and if he could explain the price drop. Imagine you book a hotel room and pay well in advance and a few days before check in see a 50% drop in price for the same room? My very polite email was replied rudely saying (and I put this alot more politely than oliver's words and tone to us) 'that our booking was in advance, at that time the price was that, now we are running some promotions so the price is this. Since you booked in advance, and as per our contract the rates cannot be renegotiated now!' I replied to him saying this was extremely unfair and that he has been arrogant in his dealing and that we and our clients are upset! But there is nothing we can do, so we leave it here! and BOOM! I received the most ugly e-mail suggesting (again, mellowing the words) that all Indians are the same, they want to re negotiate a deal and that it is better that we only work with Indian owned hotels? Would you not question the price drop and feel cheated? I would stay miles away from Namaste Yoga Farm in the future!…
We stayed in NYF for 4 days and enjoyed our stay. Very well maintained property with special attention to using natural/local/organic materials. Ideally located to access Kudle Beach. Good breakfast and support staff. Yoga sessions were very nicely organized. An area of improvement would be to address the mosquito menace. We stayed at the Sky cottage and the time of year made it a lil expensive affair. Otherwise a memorable experience!
