Great place to stay in Gokarna, we have visited several times. Lovely family who own the guest house, very obliging and happy to help. Anand helped us when Jet Airways lost my husband's luggage. We couldn't get through to Jet Airways who very unhelpfully wasn't answering their calls. Anand asked his sister-in law in Mumbai to help. She contacted Jet on our behalf and managed to locate our bag, this was so helpful and way beyond the level of service that you would expect. Thank you to Anand and family for helping a foreigner in distress! We will return.
I made a 2 night booking to cover the cart festival in Gokarna because I've stayed at this guesthouse before and so I already knew it would be a quiet and convenient place to stay with a fussy friend. So I was relieved when we checked in that my friend also approved of the room! We stayed on the first floor and had two windows which gave good ventilation whilst affording protection against the mosquitoes with netting. We had a small balcony outside with chairs and a shelving unit in the room for clothing plus a clothes line spanning the room. There was a fan with variable speeds, and clean towels and sheeting provided. The mattresses are very padded and extremely comfortable and the bathroom is adequate, with a cold shower (which you definitely need several times a day in the…
The homestay was good and clean. It is suitable for families (two or three persons). You have to walk for 4 minutes from here to reach the restuarants (Pai restuarant). The temples are nearby and reachable by walk. Gokarna beach is also close from here. I am not sure whether this place will be good for couples.
A Budget Homestay at Gokarna which is located near to bus stand. Proximity to Restaurants and Temple. Hassle free Check in and Check out. Basic Rooms which were Clean. Neat Washrooms. Beverages provided at extra cost. No Tv but lot of books We need to take Hotwater from a tap located in Stairs. Value for Money The Host Anand Sir and Anu Aunty were very kind and hospitable.
We stayed for 11 nights in this Hotel. We thought our hosts were so kind and hospitable. Even when my son was sick, they helped us so much, with hot milk and biscuits and even medicine with jeera. We felt truly at home. The room was lovely, spacious, clean, lovely balcony. The only downside was the ants that liked to march through our room but we had to agree with our host that having no food in the room would keep them out. We ate all the time at the Prema Restaurant by the Gokarna beach and loved it. Gokarna became a home away from home. Our hosts were always there to help us with our transport needs and we are going to return to this hotel soon.
