The owner and people around will play very bad social games,the whole management is of village mentality. If you are Indian and from city ,if you feel like hell. He will try to make you as an example before all the foreigners, causing you depression. And since you have paid,you cannot go anywhere else.

I must have to say this.. First of all the ambience is outstanding in Anand lagoons cafe.. The hospitality by anand sir is a very extraordinary and his way of polite speaking is mesmerizing... And his helping nature and guidance about the local trips is out of the box.. Last but not least for is so delicious and amazing.. Pizza, fish, chicken ,omlet everything is so tasty.. Must try each and everyone of you..

We had a sudden plan to get away from our city lives and take a break , we found this place while searching for affordable locations , called up the gentleman Mr Anand and had a quick chat about the place and charges and facilities they have . We packed our bags and laptop too.. reached there at 7 am on a Saturday and to our luck our room was ready by then for early check-in. It's a big room , simplistic approach in decorating it but serves the purpose beautifully. We got to know it's a family run business with few staff members to help in cleaning and other activities. By Sunday evening we were sure that we wanted to stay longer here .. we extended our stay until the next weekend.. the wifi is preety good for wfh .. we worked in the cafe area for the next 5 days , enjoying juices and food from time to time from their kitchen .. you can order food from their menu or can check with Mr Anand's wife , whom we called aunty , what is cooking in her kitchen and order a delicious fish thali or veg thali as per your liking .. we found the place and people very hospitable .. the place is beautifully green and beats the summer heat too ... the property is 100 mts away from the beach and is at a few minutes walking distance only .. from the cafe's first floor one can get the view of the ocean as well ... They have 2 adopted dogs , 1 cat and 1 chicken living in harmony in the property ... Working for 5 days there amidst the greenery and the birds chirping was not enough , we would love to be back there anytime soon ... If you solo traveller or traveling as couple or group or with family .. you will love the vibe this place gives .. it is well distanced from the busy beach life that you can choose to be part of at your will ... The food is extremely good n hygienic as it's prepared only on order ... If you want to eat some sea food you can ask them to buy from market and make for you too ... When you are there definitely definitely definitely eat the pizza , it's one of the best pizza I have ever had ...…

We were a group of 6 friends who only managed a last minute booking, but the proprietor is a wonderful person, he hooked us up with 2 rooms late in the evening. The rooms themselves were perfect, cozy and well equipped. The property is very close to the beach as well. The food served there is to die for! Extremely delicious and healthy, and at a pocket friendly price as well! Definitely recommended!!

I've had the pleasure of staying for 4 nights at Lagoon, and was very impressed with the professional manner in which the place was managed. The room was very clean and well marinated, and the owner was very quick and responsive with any issue that came up, and also went out of his way to help. Highly recommended.

Lagoon liegt etwa 200m hinter dem Gokarna Main Beach, etwa 2 km vom Zentrum Gokarnas entfernt. Aktuell gibt es 6 sehr saubere und grosszügige Hütten. Seit kurzem hat Anand auch ein Restaurant inkl Roof Top dazugebaut. Das Essen ist perfekt, egal ob Indisch, Italienisch oder Chinesisch.

This is our families second time staying at Anands. For us it provides everything and some. The accomodation is spacious clean and comfortable. And only a minute walk off the beach and a half hour walk or short rickshaw away from Gokarna village. As for Anands restaurant it is by far the best food in Gokarna with a great roof top and great WiFi. Anand and his family are a pleasure to get to live beside, and will be greatly missed when we leave.

Anands Lagoon ist eine sehr freundliche und saubere Unterkunft in Gokarna mit einer tollen Dachterrasse. Ca. 25 min Fußweg von der Stadt entfernt, was jedoch ein schöner Spaziergang ist, entweder am Strand entlang oder durch die Ausläufer des Ortes. Wir haben mehrere Restaurants ausprobiert, und am Ende sind wir dann nur noch zu Anand essen gegangen, weil es einfach das beste Essen war, vielseitig und eine große Auswahl zu moderaten Preisen.

This is the best hospitality I've ever come across among the many places I've visited. Shetty uncle will go a step further always to serve you...and also nearest to the beach. People working here are also very sweet and willing to help, so you will never feel like a guest.
