My partner and I stayed at Tamakwa Country Lodge from the 27th - 29 April 2012. What a lovely surprise to be greeted with such clean, pretty and top class accommodation. It is so beautiful and I honestly can't find fault with one aspect of the accommodation. If anything, we would have liked to have braai-ed whilst staying there, however... More

A great place to stay in the Midlands area of S Africa. Rolling hills with dairy and cattle farms with the Drakensburg mountains in the background. A different part of SA which gets snow and can go well below freezing in winter. In summer warm and sunny but not the intense subtropical heat of the Indian ocean about 3hours drive... More

Tamakwa is a very convenient and comfortable bed and breakfast (or self catering) country property situated amongst farms in the rolling hills of Rosetta in the Kwa Zulu Natal midlands.
