We took a small family trip to Ranger’s Reserve in the month of January.
This resort is located approx 25km from the main city of Ramnagar, Uttarakhand. It is just 6 hours drive from Delhi.
Clear blue sky, pure air, amazing greenery and well maintained resort are USP of this location.

The resort is quite well maintained and equipped with :
Restaurant
Bar
Activity Area

The resort has got a very welcoming staff.

Restaurant offers three time buffet. The food is good taste wise but a little overpriced.

The bar has limited options where drinks are sold at double the mrp. It is recommended to carry liquor along the trip.

During day time you can enjoy amazing sunbath in the well maintained lawn and also engage yourself in the paid activities offered by the resort.

Trekking lovers can have a feel of trekking to nearby Chopra village which is just 1.5km uphill.

In the evening resort arranges bon Fire where you can enjoy the nature with music over the drinks.

The animals like spotted Deers, Peacock, Elephant can be spotted while you are way to the resort.

This resort is a very good place if you want to take a break from your routine city life.

First of all starting with the entrance road to this resort was really thrilling. It is a complete off roading of around 3 Km. I was traveling with my XUV 500, Small cars may avoid this road as hotel provides free pickup and drop from main road.with there 4/4 gypsy. It was a 4 night stay in this resort
After reaching resort i got a good welcome. Check in was very smooth and fine. Please note only JIO network works here, so if you want connectivity of calls you are suggested o carry 1 jio sim. fortunately i was having 3.
I was staying in a family suite with Room no. 104 and there was a full view of jungle from my room. You can see a whole bunch of monkeys and deer after late evening.
The whole resort is electric wire fenced as it is in middle of the jungle. Stay here only if you want full piece of mind away from sounds of city life and busy life
Ofcourse the Person i want to admire is Mr. Sati (The Manager of the Resort). He is a very nice and Calm person and leaves no Stone left for the comfort of his guest.
You can find him any time you need whether it is 5 in the morning. Property is very well maintained with good staff.
Some of the things which I found missing and should be available at this type of resort are
1. Hair dryer in each room as the climate in the morning is very chilling and to dry your hair is a must requirement.
2. There should be a separate common bar section with filled Mini fridge in each room.
3. Snacks basket to be provided in each room because if you are staying in this resort you are totally cut from city life and nearest restaurant is in Ram nagar around 23 KM away. I missed it the most because i was traveling with my 2 kids.
4. There is No one to attend your calls after 11 pm upto 7.30 Am in morning, you are totally alone. Some emergency number may be displayed in each room
5. Restaurant is having very selected menu and i tried to get mutton which they were unable to provide. Also the food is very very costly (You are having no other options here)
6. Snacks and starters was very good in taste but when it comes to the main course i really found it tasteless. I request to look into this more seriously., because if i am staying where there is no options food must be provided of good quality. Must try starters here is Tawa fry Fish and Tandoori chicken.

But apart of all this missing/negative things i will rate this property 4/5 because of good maintenance, Nicely trained staff, Lot of Activities in house, Location - Pure offroading Jungle resort with good amenities.

Issues at The Rangers Reserve, Uttarakhand Property:

1. The swimming pool is in really bad condition, not operational , no water, and tiles are coming out. They said we will fix it, but don't know when.

2. The Luxury Suite rooms were stinking due to dampness, paint was coming out.

3. The barb wires to protect the property from animals to come inside property with electricity is not operational, they are fooling guests in the name of SAFETY. Anyone can get attacked if a tiger wishes to cross it. We all guests at luxury suites touched the wires as we were doubtful , it's proved now, and they confirmed later when we all guests confronted them.

4. The 1km road to reach property from the main road is very unsafe and in bad condition, it's welcoming a mishappening.

5. Property is not family friendly, they don't know how to organize Alcohol drinking people to not make a mess around the whole property , as we couldn't come out and enjoy bonfire, it could have been easily handled by managing it separately for Alcohol Drinking people.

6. Devi singh , the manager , misinformed me and told me to pay for safari & he overcharged me with misinformation as i was not aware of the actual price.

7. The bathing soap gels, sanitary were so low grade we didn't use them.

Our family stay at Rangers Reserve resort was one bad experience. This resort is well located for good experience. However, the management is very shoddy and uncaring of needs of guests. There was no concept of room service at all, neither was anyone attending to calls. Even bare essentials like glass, drinking water, towel, liquid hand wash, hanger, slipper, iron box, etc were not available and everything had to be asked for. There were noodles in tea flask as it was not even cleaned..The room was not cleaned even once during our stay despite we not venturing out at all from resort..Despite multiple complaints for no channel in TV, not even a single person turned up to even check it. Even though the sports facility were deserted without any attendant, we were charged for using them eventhough we played using our own gears. Most of the infrastructure and facilities are badly maintained.. The pond in front of Lodge was empty and full of moss.. There was no arrangement to keep monkeys away from the verandah which precluded using it all together. There was no hand wash in Restaurant washroom, which is blasphemous in times of pandemic..
The road to resort is very dangerous for vehicles to descend and ascend.. Even though we were helped in ascent, the steep narrow approach full of round pebbles can easily cause accident..
The manager was quite discourteous and loudmouthed.

The Restaurant staff tried well to do justice to their job and were quite caring ..

Overall, the place is not worth visiting at all because it does not has a culture for welcoming guests and looking after them..

We stayed at this resort in May 2022 for 7 nights. The location of the resort is inside the jungle which makes it possible to see wild life from the resort itself. We saw 2 leopards hunting monkeys and also saw barking deers.

We were a family of 4 & stayed in a suite. The room had 2 spacious bedrooms with 2 double beds & 2 bathrooms with small outside sit out overlooking the jungle. While having tea in the morning outside our room we saw the leopards and deers and many many birds.

The food was excellent & tasty. They ask you to avail package of all 3 buffet meals which makes sense as being in jungle there is no option to go out to eat except Maggi which also was about 2 kms away. The staff serves you with smile on their faces and chef Virendra was always ready to cook dish of your choice in the next buffet.

The manager at the property Sati is such a pleasant person, always smiling and always helping in any of our requests. He arranged a taxi for us for local sightseeing & to nearby places like Nainital, Bhimtal, Mukteshwar etc. The driver Kannu was very safe driver, always smiling.

Overall we had a very very pleasant stay and given a chance will go back again to this same resort.

Yes, my title says itself about the resort. It's the hidden gem of Jim Corbett National Park and no one can easily find this or discover it. I went there through Travedise World CO as I'm their member, and I appreciate the location they have on their list. The location itself is amazing and you can't even think about that here someone can build a resort there. The resort has a small stream passing through and which can be seen from the restaurant. The staff of the resort were down to earth and always greet you with folded hands, which is a big thing. The Resort Manager and Chef was very polite and always helpful, they customize as per our requirement. If you want to inhale fresh air and need some peace, go there without a miss.

The only minus point according to me about the resort, which may not be for others, is their mandatory meal plan. Yes, this resort has a mandatory meal plan in which we have to purchase a compulsory full meal plan. They have only a single option in the meal plan which is a full meal plan (Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner all), and for which they charge a handsome amount which I think is much higher than then-standard rates. We stayed there for 3 Nights, from which we took lunch only once. If they give an option like MAP(Breakfast and Dinner) or AP(Full meals) then people can save some money on that. Also, if you want to checkout early then no meal plan money will be refunded which I think is unfair. If we do not stay then your room booking will be wasted and you will charge for that is fine. But for food which we do not eat and still, you charge for the same is unfair. Their management should improve this policy.

Other than that, location, service, food quality, quantity, cleanliness everything was awesome. They prepare a special dinner of our choice for 2 nights and last day breakfast too which is quite awesome. I will give extra points to their staff, manager, and chef. I forget the name of the chef but he prepared one of the yummiest Khichidi also Dal Tadka on the last day of our dinner I had in my life.

Thank you Rangers team for their memorable service and support!

we travel towards Jim Corbett and above frequently. This time we booked “Rangers reserve” for 3 nights. We got no advisory from sales team in regards to what we should keep in mind while staying at the resort. ONLY “JIO” network works there. WiFi is provided but is weak. RM called us and advised that we should park our car in care of local. Then they send a ranger gypsy from there the road was adventurous for some time but due to weather conditions we knew the we have entered in the jungle (it was a bumpy ride). As soon as we reach at the resort I was little disappointed regarding the rates as it was weekday trip. But team gave us an upgrade. Intercom wasn’t working and we were completely disconnected from the world. We had no idea what we will face there. Thank god the Manager called at saved us from that bumpy ride. Food was also ok only but highly priced. We wanted to check-out the next day. Around 5 pm we went to the restaurant and “sound of nature” was amazing. We decided to explore more. They opened the door to explore nature’s at its best for us. We spent 5 hours in refreshing water stream. Then we spoke honestly to the manager and chef that the food is too expensive and have no taste and chef tried and gave us good food. We spent all 3 nights there itself. We got stuck with the walks and water stream with music. Our evening at “The Nest” was great.

Overall, if u love nature and understand that you are in jungle. Have “Jio” mobile connect ( if not then ask the sales team as WiFi is poor there) then u will enjoy and relax at this place.only thing is that the rates are way too high for food as the serve only Indian food and menu charges is like multi Cuisine restaurant. Team is good at the resort even in lockdown times.

“ Please understand that you are entering in jungle (in tiger reserve) please do not look for good roads, it will be bumpy.”

As they say... difficult roads often leads us to beautiful destination ... good luck !!

We will visit soon !!

It starts with approach to the Resort, the beginning of an adventure to enjoy. Every bend leads you deeper into the Jungle with the sounds of the forest and rusting of leaves in the breeze.

You reach a grand resort that takes a couple of days to explore with fruit gardens, manicured lawns, Gazebos and Rooms that are clean, extra large and super comfortable. The balconies are literally tree houses. Got to see exotic birds, wild bore and Barking deer just relaxing there on the camp cot.

The Food ! So delicious and sumptuous at the restaurant. The late evenings at the cafe are plesant memories to cherish a lifetime.

Morning treks through the sal tree forest, late morning dip in the lovely pool and evening treks up to the sunset point are reasons not to miss an opportunity to enjoy this only one in the world Resort.

The staff headed by Mr Sati are dedicated and treat each guest as their house guests living up to the moto Service with a Smile.

Beautiful, well spread, picturesque property in the middle of the jungle.Nicely done up rooms coupled with equally courteous staff. We were provided with a gypsy to traverse last one KM of off roading track since sedan can’t reach due to lesser ground clearance . The food served was of very good standard, cooked and served in excellent hygienic conditions. Big thanks to Mr BC Sati , the Manager and his team for making our stay memorable. Would love to visit Rangers Reserve again. Thanks and ATB.👍🏻👍🏻
