Saraca Corbett Resort & Spa is lauded for its immaculate and well-maintained premises, set in a tranquil natural environment that guests find refreshing. While praised for spacious, luxurious rooms with breathtaking views, some guests suggest they could benefit from a touch of modernization. The resort's secluded setting is a double-edged sword, offering serenity but posing a challenge for those seeking nearby alternatives. Despite the food options being tasty, their cost is a concern for some visitors. Nevertheless, the exceptional service and a host of amenities, including horse riding, a spa, and live entertainment, contribute to a serene and enjoyable experience.

Lebua Corbett is an amazing experience. It is really good for people who want spend time with their family in the midst of natural forest and greenery with full peace and calm.
The hotel staff is excellent, their courteousness is unquestionable. You can't expect anything more than that from a 5-start hotel.
Cycling (free of cost), pool (free of cost), table tennis (free of cost), gymnasium (free of cost), spa (chargeable), horse riding (chargeable) are available. The bar is non-operational, but you are allowed to bring liquor and consume at room. Restaurant shall provide you ice and glasses on call.
Few trails like Maneater, nature walk are available on charge. Me and my wife did the tougher Maneater trail (normally takes 5 hours) with Mr Sunit (Hotel Employee). It was one worth of an experience.
Now the best part: Food
Just one word: Awesome and highly expensive. The cheff, the restaurant and the staff are very professional. The food preparation is mouth watering. They have buffet, which should be opted. At minimum occupancy, they will not arrange buffet and will provide you the list of preparations, you can have as per what you want freely and they will serve you at table each and every item prepared for the day. At normal occupancy they will arrange buffet.
A suggestion from my side to visitors: Bring in some packed snacks/chips etc for evening from home if possible to have as sides with liquor, as the food outside buffet meals shall be very very costly and there is nothing outside the resort.
A request to the the hotel: Slightly reduce the rates of food if possible. I understand, its a place where it is bound to be costly, but still if food price can be reduced a bit.

I had gone with some great friends and spent a night there. It was an amazing place. Jungle view, small man made water body, lovely trails for walks, variety of birds and impeccable rooms and bathrooms you don't want to step out. Food - that's something to die for. I haven't had such lovely Rogan Josh and Kumaon mutton for a very long time especially the Rogan Josh. The meat cut selection was excellent, beautiful taste and texture of gravy. We also had biryani which was very nice too. The breakfast spread had a lot of variety. The staff extremely polite and helpful without being intruding. It was a memorable experience and will go again.

If u don't have 4wd the hotel has parking 2-3 kms away and their 4wd will bring you to hotel at no cost. It's worth the effort.

We went as a couple to lebua Corbett, last year, However, we been in lebua Bangkok but never get a chance to try their India Hotels, first time we stayed in any India based lebua Hotels, lebua Corbett. We have booked through the sales team Himanshu Sehgal and he explained the product very well to us, once we reached at the hotel, we had an amazing experience of Hospitality and staff was very courteous.
Location of the resort is very adventurous and reaching to the resort it’s like going through the Jungle..
Food was value for money, we opted for Buffet package, if you love adventure and nature this is the best property to stay and experience it.

Lovely stay and thanks for making our stay memorable.

Looking forward to stay again in future.

No covid protocol followed in the restaurant. Everyone roaming without masks ( including their waiters wearing masks below nose) and food served as normal buffet indoors with everyone touching the utensils as they pleased. Multiple indoor tables full of guests. Breakfast was no less than a mela with no enforcement of social distancing.
They want to charge 500 rupees every time you need to step out of the resort for using their car as your car wouldn’t reach till the resort. Only after an argument and haggle they “allowed us 2 trips down to our car without a charge”. We thought their attitude was a deal breaker. The staff argued when we requested to not share the car with other passengers due to the risk of covid- explaining to us how we were unreasonably scared and how even the driver could have covid.
Nature walks and horse riding are chargeable. They again tried to convince us how we are being silly by not wanting to share the nature walk with other non mask wearing guests. Activities room is a shamble. They wanted to charge for baby’s milk and again haggled by saying they can give 1 or two glasses free which seemed like an unpleasant argument to be in. Location of the resort is nice, beautifully manicured garden and landscaping.
Their service and hospitality is a shame and need to learn from other 5 star brands like Taj to up their game. This is the only property where we chose to leave a day early wasting our 16k( charge per night for residence room) as our safety and Health is more imp for us. Won’t be returning here for sure.

Where do I even begin. As someone correctly pointed out Lebua is a 2-3 star resort holistically speaking, overestimated as a 5 star. They claimed being pet friendly but their attitude towards pet owners is poor and they’re marginalised especially by the manager. If you don’t have any activities planned outside, then the resort itself will fall short in making your stay in Jim Corbett entertaining and enjoyable. The facilities and entertainment is pretty average and the Wi-Fi connectivity is weak. Some carriers don’t work at all but that can be understood due to the dense wilderness. The food is pretty terrible and super exorbitant at the same time. The à la carte has a very limited choice of food that can be ordered and the buffet is always cold and not up to the mark. There are a lot of flies in the restaurant that enjoy your meal with you, ‘welcome to the wilderness’ is what their response to the issue is. The staff isn’t very warm to the guests either except the girl at the reception named Prema. The manager on the other hand can’t be bothered at all even if it’s asking for something as basic as drinking water. The view of the valley is the only worthwhile thing at the resort which one gets bored looking at if the stay is for more than 2 days. The swimming pool looks great from the outside but guess what? It gave our entire family a severe fungal infection that we’re still treating weeks after the visit. The pool has all sorts of bugs and insects with algae stuck to it’s inside that wasn’t cleaned at all during our entire stay. Other 5 star hotel have a dedicated person cleaning the pool with a long net and the water is changed everyday with the appropriate amount of chlorine. Also they don’t have any kind of swimming related equipment be it tubes, a ball, swimming board nor do they have a lifeguard in case of any unforeseen incident. Also take note that they talk about wildlife spotting and safaris on their Instagram but in no way did they help us book one. The room is below average in decor and ambiance is also has dry damp walls. The below average ambience continues to their restaurant. To top it all the 4x4 drive to and from the resort is marketed as an adventure but it’s really just a very uncomfortable and off-putting experience and this is coming from someone in their 20’s. Save yourself the trouble and book the Taj if you’re not traveling with a pet or look for alternatives. I’ve been to countless 5 star hotels in India and abroad and this resort doesn’t even come close to others in terms of everything.

We stayed here (family of four) for two nights in December last year and had a great experience.

The property is relatively new and very well maintained. The rooms are modern with a high standard of cleanliness.

There are plenty of activities, such as horse riding, cycling, table tennis, pool, swimming (no heated pool though) and there is plenty of greenery and good landscaping throughout.

The property is smaller than some of the more well known Corbet properties, but it has the advantage of newer construction, it would definitely rank as one of the most well maintained and I think it's better suited if you want a quiet, relaxed time with your family.

Staff is extremely courteous and helpful.

WiFi coverage was quite weak and I hope that's improved upon.

Food was ok and room service is definitely on the pricier side. Carrying your own snacks and tibits would be a good idea.

If travelling during the winter months, do make sure to carry a couple of extra layers, as the jeep ride from the property to the national park is bone chilling!

Overall, it was a memorable stay and we would highly recommend Lebua to all families looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay at Corbet.

stayed with family for 3 night. You have to park your car approx. 3 km from the property. The hotel will pick you up and drop back at parking (only 4X4 vehicles can climb up to hotel). Staff is nice and courteous, but at the same time they are lazy, overworked and not all are well trained. Called the inroom dining n number of times for clearance but no one turned up till about late evening. There is a charge for about anything that is not part of your package. (the even charge for things which are free even in OYO rooms)
Some prices that caught my eye during my stay
Lemon = Rs50
Ice Bucket =Rs 100
Tea = Rs400

Recreation room has an antique carrom, broken pool table and sticks.

During our stay about 60% of the guest were complaining of something or the other and to our surprise we got to know the MD/Owner is also staying in the property, but did not see him interacting with the guest, he was busy using services and eating meals.

Anyways the property is nice but the services are so slowwwwwww that you will even forget what you had asked for.

Lebua a great brand and so we chose and were completely disappointed .
Reasons
1. Amidst a deep forest the hotel lacks the forest culture !! Why?

2. Lunch time was 130 to 3 whilst the safari timings are fro. 215 pm and an hour away so having paid for all meals included we wasted the money .

3. We had to request for a tea hamper for our drive and we got in brown paper bags heavy thermos with tea and coffee but put no cups !!😡

4. In the room no torch !! In a jungle hotel and when you ask for one the reply is we shall check !!

5. We were in their highest category residences .. no hair dryer , water was leaking in the bathroom . No hot water the first day and too
Much water wasted before hot water arrived teh next day !!

6. Usually we are introduced in a jungle hotel/ lodge teh first person a naturalist !! Here, we were not .

7. None of the staff was in jungle attire !!

8. The lady At the reception was visibly surprised to hear that we will be going for 3 safaris in our two days stay !! And she said oh!! We have a pool and we have a gym and we have a table tennis table .. and you will not be able to use !! They do have jungle walks !!

Now the good things

1. We had no breakfast but their buffet for dinner was good .

2. Staff particularly a lady from Dehradun at the restaurant was very good .

3. The room was clean .

4. The hotel’s location is outstanding . Of course the road upto the hotel is in itself a jungle expedition . an experience !!

So a lot of little things will get five stars from teh jungle
Lovers !!

We had really high expectations from lebua corbett...however, services are real bad.
In case u ask to clean the room more than once in a day, the housekeeping manager will turn up ask for the reason.
Most of the staff looks rude in restaurant during the buffet, you’ll feel as if u’ve come to eat for free and they are doing some favor in serving u.

Zero points for hospitality. Really disappointed, waste of money.

Best part of our stay was the restaurant services and awesome food throughout our stay. The restaurant manager Harish supported by Rahul was very accommodating in our food requests. And the chef was making some pretty delicious meals.
The food part was well supplemented by suggestions from the Guest Services Manager & naturalist Kanchan. Their suggestions to visit some sites close by were spot on and we enjoyed those a lot. The resort itself is great - looks like they have under marketed themselves a bit on their website. It is much better than the pics we saw before reaching there. Specially we liked the remote location away from the commercial Center where most resorts are present. Overall an amazing trip for our group of 12. Thanks to all involved from the resort for making it a happy stay.
