Felt in love with caribbean and snorkling here. Snorkling gear included in the room rate! The place offers offers top notch snorkling opportunities with a beatiful shore and a big coral reef very close by! 🤩 The staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are neat and comfy, we also had a balcony with an ocean view. Food is also OK (nothing special) and bar serves drinks.

Basic accomodation. Great food, and great team, very helpful. Enjoyed very much the hamac setting on the waterside watching the sunset, having fresh juices or snorkeling. We had a great time there definitely recommending. Small inconvenience is the house music day time from the hotel nearby. Took the snorkeling hotel tour and was great as well for cheap.

This was my fourth stay over 3 years here and everytime it more than exceeds my expectations and improves on each stay. Fantastically basic and clean rooms, super friendly and helpful staff and the most idyllic island you can imagine. Simple well made food, great swimming just off the jetty (take some swimming shoes to protect your feet from the coral). The phosporescent tour here combined with sea kayaking thru the mangrove at night is not to be missed - truly magical. I highly reccomend staying here for the price point this hostel nails it!

It's hard to put into words how much we loved staying here! We felt like we were part of a family here and it was the best part of the stay. The accommodations are rustic and fun - we had a second floor room with great views, but yes, the outdoor bathrooms are shared and outdoor. They're super clean and great. Beds are really comfortable and they keep the rooms really clean and hang mosquito nets every night (Thank you, Leica!!) The activites really make this place great. The ocean in front of the hostel is great for snorkeling which we did multiple times a day. Also great area for paddle boarding and kayacking. The hostel offers excursions that you MUST DO! We di dthe biolumenecent plankton tour and it was incredible. We also did a great snorkel tour out to larger coral reefs and explored some of the smaller nearby islands. The guys that lead these tours are locals and just amazing people - Nemo, Philipe, Pepo, and Runi will only lead you to great adventures so whatever they reccomend doing - DO IT! The food here is typical island food and good!! We LOVED the morning arepas and fresh fruit. Blader was a great host at the restaurant and Sergio makes a GREAT cocktail for happy hour. We were here for five days and it was a great time - great times in the water, napping in hammocks, going on adventures and enjoying the people. A HUGE thank you to Alex - the manager/owner's relative who was the BEST HOST we could ever ask for. His energy is great and repore with the staff heartwarming. Hamaquero is more than a place to stay - it's a family vibe and you should stay here if you want the best Isla Grande experience!!

Great environment, the owner it is very kind, it is important to try the night tour at planton laguna, also i recommend to swin near the pablo escobar's plane. The happy hour was interesting. But the food needs improvement. No noise, very calm.
