Our hotel is 100% ecological and in nature, managed by five local families of islanders. We produce electricity from solar panels. We offer fun activities for adults and children: snorkeling in the coral reef, luminiscent lake at night, tour of the lakes and mangrove by kayak, bird sanctuary, forest hikes, and visits to the local village. The island is also perfect for just relaxing with a good book on a hammock or on the beach.

Take advantage of the privileged location of this ecohostel exactly 3 minutes from the beach but with the advantage that it is in a forest environment, very well gardened, very cool and quiet (not like in the expensive hotels around where there is 24/7 disco music 🤦🏽). This ecohostel is more familiar, Doña Ana Rosa treats you very nicely and cooks great. The cabins are very beautiful with private bathroom and has eco-guides, snorkeling equipment and everything is ECOLOGICAL and SUSTAINABLE !! 💚💚 I definitely want to come back! This is my new home in Islas del Rosario! 😋🤣

An interesting experience on a site where the basic confort are available! Excellent food preparade by the owner especially for fresh fish. Located closed to fantastic beaches and manned by a friendly staff. All the travellers have to divide the structures amenities! The only terrible remark is the lack of appropiate mosquito repellent in the shop!!!!

I'm not sure what Eco-Hotel is supposed to stand for. This is basically a few small buildings with no running water and no electricity in the rooms, not even a fan. The two women in the kitchen were very nice and the chicken and fish lunch was great. Somehow we got spaghetti for dinner, probably because of our 3 children. It was awful. Soggy with ketchup (literally) for sauce. Should not be served! Our room had good beds with mosquito netting but the walls were lattice in parts and open so no way to keep out the flying insects. The bathroom had a toilet you had to pour water into from a bucket. There was a shower area, also with a bucket to scoop water over your head. Super basic, good for what it is but not worth much $. Also the beach is a walk through a trashy path and nothing to speak of. Best thing, a boat trip through the mangroves was really cool.

We -a couple of 60 year olds and a 30 year old loved this place. We had a bamboo fale with attached bathroom. The double bed was comfortable and there was a fan. No runnng water but supplies of salt water for the loo and fresh water to wash with were provided. Using a coconut shell to pour water over yourself is great when it's really hot outside. Outside a hammock was provided to relax in. The grounds are verdant and pleasing to the eye. There's a dining area, a kitchen which provides 3 meals a day and a shop. Very little English is spoken. Activities including diving. (Fernando speaks English) snorkelling , bioluminescence tour, kayaking , walking and cycling are available. It's all very laid back and you have to be proactive. Breakfast is good (ask for huevos and tostadas if you'd prefer this to empanadas) lunch is fish and rice, dinner meat and chips so a bit basic. However it's tranquil. 5 mins from the nearest beach with clear turquoise seas and a coral reef within sight. Great!
