I would highlight the cleanliness, tranquility and kindness of the hosts (they are super attentive, polite and very friendly, glad to deal with people like that) they treat you great, the site is very cozy, the beds super comfortable, the village is very quiet and there is parking very close (1 minute walk). I've just spent 3 lovely nights at this gorgeous B&B. The rooms are spotlessly clean and decorated to a high standard, mixing Scandi comfort with traditional Andulician style. If you're looking for comfort, friendly owners and delicious breakfasts, then you can't go wrong here. I have friends in the village and so many stunning beaches and white washed villages were just a short ride away. Make sure to eat at the village plaza bar too- just the best homecooked Tapas you'll eat on your trip.

We stayed 4 nights with Malin and Cristian in their super courtyard room. Large room, fab bathroom, all room amenities provided, excellent AC. Super comfortable bed and extra pillows provided on request. Super breakfast, wide variety of fruit, yogurt, cereals, toast, ham and cheese and eggs or pancakes on different days. Superb hosts, couldn't have done more for us. Super clean, lovely top level lounge (steep stairs so my husband could not use). Fridge in central area provided for guests. Location just of main square with a bar and a small store. I agree with other comments that not easy to park near and all streets very steep, but that is Gualchos. We were able to drive up to the square to load and unload and then parked 5 mins walk away in the town car par -not a problem. We used the beach and bars at Castell de Ferro - stony beach but at least no sand in food. Super clean safe beach. Lovely choice of beach bars

Location idyllic. A peaceful, traditional house in a peaceful, traditional village.
Our hosts were charming, friendly and helpful, also relaxed and calm. If you want a few days of pure relaxation, come here.
I think we had the loveliest room - superb views on three directions - and a cooling breeze if required although air con also available in room

We stayed with Christian and Malin at the Limonero bnb for ten days during the autumn of 2019. Limonero bnb is situated in the picturesque village of Gualchos. Even thought Malin was worried that a family with two small children might get a boring stay, our experience was quite the opposite.
Christian and Malin are amazing hosts and the bnb house is incredibly charming. We enjoyed our delicious breakfasts on the patio under the lemon tree and our dinners at the local restaurant across the town square, while the kids ran around playing.
During the days we took the car to nearby beaches as well as day trips to places such as Granada and Nerja.
We would love to come stay at the the Limonero bnb again and we deeply recommend this place to others.

Just returned from 10 days touring Andalucia. (Cadiz, Seville, Cordoba, Granada.) Finished up with 3 nights in Gualchos visitng my brother. Stayed in various qualities of hotels, but none could compare with excellence of the Limonero BnB. This unique establishment is stuated in the central plaza of the typical white village 5km up (and I mean UP!) from Castel di Ferro. It contains 4 large individually decorated double bedrooms. We have stayed in 2 of them and both are delightful. Hosts Malin and Christian have poured their considerable charm into this property. The breakfasts are exceptional. There are terraces with views of the village square, the mountains and the sea. This BnB is quintessentially Spanish and we would recommend it whole-heartedly.

Definitely one of the best accommodations we've been in. A high-class BnB in the center of a small charming village, Gualchos.
We stayed for a week in the spacious room no. 4. Outside the room there is a lovely patio with evening sun. A well-equipped room with comfortable beds and plenty of wardrobe space and storage areas. Really good breakfast. A well-functioning kitchen at the guests' disposal and a lovely lounge to sit in in the evenings.
The whole house is clean and tidy, decorated with good taste! The host couple are very nice, hospitable and helpful. We can warmly recommend Limonero!

We recently stayed here for 3 nights and it was a lovely BnB run by a lovely couple. The BnB itself is authentic and had been thoughtfully decorated throughout. The room we shared was comfortable and immaculate and the breakfast was delicious and full of thoughtful touches. The beach at Calahonda is close by (10-20 minutes by car) and is a beautiful beach in a well appointed small town. However, the BnB is located in a small village with few amenities and at the end of a steep hill road (... so nervous drivers beware). But, this didn’t phase us too much and the local “La Plaza” bar and friendly locals more than made up for it. Thank you very much Christian and Malin for a wonderful stay at your BnB, we would highly recommend it!
