Amazing stay at the B&B, we were greeted by John who was very friendly and polite, he showed us round the property and to our rooms. The rooms were a great standard, very clean and comfy. We chose what time we wanted our breakfast the next day and it was a fantastic, filling breakfast with stunning views from the surrounding...

I found the owners of Measham House, Di and John, friendly and helpful. Although I only needed a single room I was given the larger Calke Room which was quite spacious and had both a single bed and a double bed plus a wonderful view over open countryside. Obviously, I just used the comfortable single bed. The single room initially...

Booked 2 nights en route from Devon back up north. The site is well situated for th A42 we stayed on the Cottage field as not Caravan club members. We have 2 small dogs and there was nowhere at all to walk them other than round the small site field. The site owner didn't want us to walk them up...

We stayed on the Cottage Field which was the best pitch there - in our opinion. Loads of room, well maintained grounds and facilities. We had a motorhome and our family had a large tent which we pitched side by side. In the height of summer the 2 toilets and one shower on site may mean queues but we were...

We stayed here for a night with family including a 5 year old. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and were looked after very well. The house and the rooms are lovely and the view from the Calke Room is stunning. The breakfast was really good... Nice selection of fresh fruit and cereals and a great breakfast menu....

Di and John are the best hosts, offering the warmest welcome to their lovely farmhouse that has beautiful, spacious bedrooms with immaculate en-suites. Breakfast menu offers a wide choice, including fresh some produce from their own garden, and very tasty cooked breakfast! They are lovely people, very helpful with ideas of things to do and see in the area, but...

I stayed here with a friend whilst attending an art course nearby. The farm house itself is delightful, in a lovely setting...and our room was perfection. Spotlessly clean, spacious, everything provided, we could not have asked for more. Di and John felt like old friends, and were so helpful and interesting without being intrusive. Breakfast was delicious, in fact the...

We stayed 3 nights in the farmhouse. The room was huge and immaculately decorated in 'modern traditional' style. There was tea/coffee and also sherry provided in the room, and the sherry bottle was topped up when we'd had some! Huge , comfortable bed with soft smooth sheets and - ultimate but rare luxury - BIG towels! Our room had dual...
