We came here 6 years ago and was delighted to see that not much had changed. Considering the years the apartment was in great shape. We had a mountain view over the pond which was lovely to sit and watch the ducks. We had a fantastic meal in the restaurant too.

Despite our short stay, it was a pleasant experience. Room was very nice, staff attentive. Food from the restaurant was good as well. Views were very good from room and facilities in the room were comfortable.

Just 5 minutes walk to the church and the village where there are more restaurants and shops. The breakfast and dinner are both good and value for money. The only thing not perfect is the coffee provided in the breakfast is too weak.

The staff were superb, really friendly and super helpful when explaining where our room was. Our room was perfect! Nice and tidy and great value for money! It was lovely and warm with its own heat pump and heated bathroom floor tiles which was great as it was a chilly -1 outside. Our bed was nice and comfy, only a...

Loved the warm tiles in the bathroom. It was a good room with a comfortable bed. Wished they had some protected parking as we had to get buckets of water to take off the ice from the car in the morning. The dining room was very good and the food excellent.

The room was smaller than we expected. The internet would not connect the whole time we were there. The bathroom was spacious and nice. Would have liked a plunger and coffee for it. We went to the hot pools nearby which was great and had a meal in the Tekapo township. It was our wedding anniversary so we would have...

Booked for a 2 night weekend stay at what is supped to be an iconic NZ destination. Very disappointed with this place which is totally focused on the overseas market and certainly not interested in local NZ guests. Booked early in the day for dinner at 7.30 and when we get there were told that a tour group has all...

Beautiful grounds, the staff were friendly and helpful without being pushy, amazing food (highly recommend the steak!). Can only comment on our room, which was very small, however that's the only less than positive comment...

Breakfast buffet...food was not good. Watery scrambled eggs, watered down named beans, uncooked croissants, no self service cutlery available.... Expected better when everything else is such a high standard.
