Casita de La Penita is the perfect introduction to the Jaltemba Bay. Bob and Linda Gibbs are thoughtful hosts who not only care about their guests (which are legion) but the community in which they have placed their business (and believe me, this is no easy feat). I am privileged to have been their guest on two occasions, and although...

My sister and I planned a trip to Mexico but wanted a "true Mexican" flavour - no all inclusives with huge buffets of the same food every day. Casita was recommended by friends and it has been all we were looking for! Bob and Linda are great hosts, helpful with day trips, restaurant recommendations, banking tips, shopping hints and anything you could want!...

Our first time at Casita for 2 weeks Feb-March 2013 was the best winter holiday escape from the frozen north! Bob & Linda Gibbs arranged for us to be met at PV airport after a late evening flight, which was very much appreciated. The apartments are very well equipped, the ceiling fans most welcome, and linen changes available when needed....

We stayed at Casita de La Penita in late Jan,/early Feb. This was the third time we stayed at the Gibb's and as usual, we were made to feel completely at home upon your arrival. Linda and Bob are so hospitable, always ready to assist with any planning for activities, restaurant ideas, and including you with any of the community...

Our family descended on Casita the week after Christmas. I say descended as there were about 19 of us staying in 3 of the "apartments" Bob and Linda were great hosts, and were very willing to chat and offer suggestions on were to eat or go. We also felt that the other guests were just as friendly and helpful as...

We stayed once again for 6 weeks. We just returned home Saturday. Your hosts Bob and Linda Gibbs, make your stay very enjoyable. You cannot beat the location. The accommodations are suitable for everyone. We have noted that more families with small children are using La Casita de la Penita. Although La Penita is not considered a tourist destination it...

Our family of nine spent a wonderful week over Christmas at Casita de La Penita. Bob & Linda Gibbs are most gracious hosts - helping our family with recommendations for everything from where & when to dine, shop & arranging transportation for our adventures beyond La Penita. We loved the quaint villa located on the ocean - decorated in authentic...

Spent two months at Casita de la Penita and found it to be so convenient to everything! The owners are wonderful people who go out of their way to make sure your stay with them is enjoyable! It was extremely hot and humid during our stay so we did miss having Air conditioning but other than that the units are...

We spent 2 weeks at the Casita, our first visit to western Mexico. Bob and Linda, owners of the Casita, are incredible hosts and even had cold beer and some food we requested in our room when we arrived. The rooms are clean and well laid out with everything you need to do your own cooking, if you choose to....

“There are only seven unique rooms, each with their own personality, the upper rooms have a better view of the water but the lower rooms have a cozy, shared patio that is wonderful for sharing a cold beverage with your neighbours. There is no A/C, it is not necessary, the rooms stay at a comfortable temperature and the ceiling fans keep it fresh and much better for sleeping.”
