If you want to go on vacation from the rat race and actually enjoy the tropical paradise that is the REAL Puerto Rico instead of trading the stresses of home for the crowds in . . . San Juan, this is the place to do it. Bob and Keishya made us feel very much at home and treated us like...

We spent two days here and would like to spend longer next time. We visited mid-week and there was absolutely noone else on the local beach. Instead of driving up to El Yunque we chose to explore the local nature preserve with plenty of birds and turtles. Keishya and Bob were wonderful and extremely helpful. And if you want to...

After a whorl-wind and crazy trip to San Juan, the Bare Foot Travelers Rooms were exactly what my husband and I needed. It was quiet, a gorgeous beach is down the street, and the casa was near a monkey island. "Monkey Island?" you say, I'll get to that in a minute. Keishya and Bob were extremely accommodating and offered excellent...

We stayed at Barefoot Travelers for 4 nights in early January 2011. The guesthouse has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, family room with large screen TV. This was very comfortable for the four of us, including two young adult children. Our hosts Bob and Keyshya treated like guests in their house and were always there to answer questions...

Barefoot Travelers Rooms has all the comforts of home including the owners, Keishya and Bob, who will treat you like family from the moment you arrive. They are a block from a swimming beach and next to a big tropical nature reserve that has a long, unpopulated stretch of beach. Keishya and Bob took me on a kayak tour to...

Stayed here for three nights in late October and couldn't have been happier with our decision. Just like everyone else has written, the hosts are extremely kind, and most importantly, very helpful. Both husband and wife and no-nonsense, bright people who do a great job making you feel welcome in their home but also know how to give guests their...

Thank you to these guests for choosing 'Barefoots' as part of an authentic Puerto Rico experience. We appreciate hearing the small things that need our attention so that we can improve the guesthouse experience whenever possible. I apologize we did not have this in our radar sooner. Since your stay to weeks ago we have already changed the ac unit...

We stayed at barefoot for 4 nights. During our stay we used the pool, the beach (which is only steps away from the Inn), Kayaks with a trip to Monkey Island accompanied by Bob and Kieshya (a must do!!!) and a drive to El Yunque and Luquillo beach. Each day was better than the next. We had an amazing time...

We stayed at Barefoot travelers over Labor Day weekend for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Keishya & Bob were wonderful hosts and gave us insightful information regarding things to do in Eastern PR. One afternoon Keishya led a kayak excursion for us and another couple (Hi to Jim & Gerrie!! We had a very good stay in the Humacao area at the Barefoot traveler. It's right in between Naguabo and Humacao. Great Pinchu stand right out on route 3, very close, a block away and a great bakery also close by. They also offer trips on Kayaks. We totally enjoyed the trip to Monkey Island, a AAA expereince, Keyshya &...

“The guesthouse is the entire first floor of their home. One master bedroom with a private bath and two single bedrooms with a shared bathroom. All the rooms are comfy, just depends how much privacy you want. It really feels just like you're staying over a friend's place. Warning! Beds are VERY firm. However, I typically sleep on a soft mattress but slept really well regardless.”
