The 4 night Turkey & Tinsel break is exceptional value for money, in a lovely old 3-star Victorian hotel in a beautiful location - plenty of interesting places to see during the day. Bedroom was fine, and the staff were very friendly & helpful. Bits of the hotel are being re-furbished, which will only improve it. Nice and relaxing break

Popped in here for dinner with my boyfriend just over a week ago, and it left me feeling sad. For all the glorious local produce in the surrounding areas, none of it is used in their menu, and if it is, it isn't advertised. Fresh fish... nowhere to be seen. (I asked our waiter if the fish was fresh, he... More

My wife and I stopped off for lunch today. The bar was quiet but we enjoyed ourselves. I had an excellent quality steak pie and my wife had scampi. The meals were very reasonably priced. Nice warm log fire. We did not stay overnight In the hotel. It was rather old fashioned but friendly and welcoming.

36 of us thoroughly enjoyed a Xmas themed weekend including music, dancing and great food. The hotel is old and in some area's a little tired but we could not fault our accommodation and the cleanliness of same. Upgrading is being done constantly to reinstate the character of this lovely building. Management and Staff were warm and friendly and nothing... More

Stopped here for lunch with a party of 4 and a dog (dogs allowed in bar area). Was disappointed with the fish and chips, it was just a frozen breaded fish. Tomato sauce wasn't Heinz even though it was in a Heinz bottle. The hotel seems a bit run down. The best thing about the place was exceptional service from... More

Many thanks for taking the time to write a review of your visit to Nethybridge for lunch, I have passed on your kind comments to Jack who looked after you very well. We paid just under £100 for one night, and for that I would expect a bit more to the room. The bed was hard, and there was barely enough light to put makeup on. The tv and other furnishings were decent. The bathroom was not updated yet, was very cramped, and the shower swung between too hot and too cold.... More

We really liked this hotel and can't understand the criticism of the staff. We received a friendly welcome and were told that there was a good fire on to make the bar cosy. Knew this hotel was 3* and it provided us with an uninspiring but adequate room and simple (pub grub) food. Not expensive for what we had, staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms at front currently being renovated (entire hotel seriously needs this), but good location for getting out and about walking, etc
