Quite simply staying in this hotel is a complete joy. Jamie and the rest of the staff are wonderful and the facilities are excellent. The food in the Chanterelle restaurant is fantastic, If you are staying a couple of nights, ask Lori or Lindsey to make their Shepherd's Pie, the best you'll ever taste.

Lovely, homely hotel with a great breakfast Minor panic when I walked in for breakfast to discover cereal & juice but nothing hot, however the waitress came over & took my order and a full Scottish cooked breakfast arrived freshly prepared. Bed was incredibly comfortable and all the staff very welcoming. Would recommend in a heartbeat and look forward to...

My husband and I came here as we were staying at the lodge next door. The lady at reception showed us to a small room where we enjoyed a drink and looked at the menus. The dining room was beautiful with stunning views and the waitresses were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the mushroom and haggis for starter, pork...

Came to stay for one night and extended as we liked it so much. Food at restaurant was outstanding. Great outlook from the room and the rural setting make for a very restful sleep after staying in cities.

Attended a birthday meal at the Kinkell House Hotel. The welcome was warm and the place itself is very nicely set up for a small family celebration of about 40-50 folk. I have Coeliac disease so require gluten free food. The menu had the necessary GF markings on each available dish and when I got to eating the foo found...

This is a good hotel in general. There is not much to do around the hotel, but it has a very nice ambience to it. There is a cosy conservatory which has books and nice couches. The staff was very friendly and helpful. One thing which was a problem was that the water temperature sometimes suddenly changed by a pretty...

Fantastic hotel booked at the last minute. 6 of us running in the river Ness 10k needed a last minute booking due to our original accommodation at a venue in Inverness being horrendous. This hotel couldn't have been nicer. Accommodation was lovely clean and welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. The bathroom was amazing. Tea coffee making facilities were great...

My wife and I booked a two night DBB break. The hotel was superb, fantastic views from bed room, as dining room was closed( more later), friendly, helpful staff. Dinner on day one was superb as where both breakfasts. Unfortunately dinner on day two was a major let down. Starter, sweet and cheeseboard ( not on menu but provided all...

We had booked for just 1 night , there was a bit of an issue on arrival as someone had not entered our booking in the system but a lovely Thai lady sorts us out and gave us a nice room. It's a beautiful old house, the room was good, quite big, views over the garden and its dog friendly....

Pros - Friendly welcome & staff. Nice quiet location with lovely views. Room & bathroom large with nice modern features very comfortable. Cons - No heating but room very warm must be above kitchen because very noisy fan until late evening. Menu quite expensive & service slow took 1 hour 15 minutes to complete breakfast.
