My husband and I spent three days at this lovely old castle / manor house. It is situated just outside Dingwall, situated on top of a hill and is in an excellent position to explore the highlands. We arrived at around 2.30 on the friday and our room was ready for us. The room was charming with a large super...

We stayed here for one night with the dog and loved it...Graham (Manager) was superb, food superb and free ghost tour superb. Well done Graham. Yes the property looks a little tired in some areas so if you want a brand new hotel this is not for you...if you want character, a fun experience, make a reservation.

3 night break with 1 dinner, bottle of wine cream tea, £169.00 2 x single beds room, beds were a bit narrow. Dinner on the first night (included) was good. We enjoyed 3 courses. Dinner on the second night (we paid) was from the same menu as the night before. The waiter offered the bar menu so we chose from...

Friendly personable service - they make you feel really welcome. Lovely rooms - some of them haunted. Great breakfasts and dinners, and a fun bar. Don't miss the ghost tour - lots of fun. Internet code gets a bit confusing, but who needs internet here anyway!

First of all, big ups to Rodney (bartender), Milia (hotel manager) and to our very favorite staff John (facilities/ghost tour guide)! This whole experience was like a legend, a myth that you could read about. Pulling into the premises was entering this small archway overgrown with ivy. Then entering this massive blue door which lead into a warm welcoming room....

We booked Tulloch Castle for a relaxing break, our visit was anything but this. Based on the details given on the website, we were expecting a night of luxury. From the minute we were shown our room until we left, we encountered one disaster after another. We booked a four poster room, and were advised at check in we had...

Last minute meal out, thought we would pop to Tulloch castle, worst idea ever!! On road up no signage to say where to enter. On arrival, walking around looking lost trying to find a member of staff. Waitress has no idea how to greet people or even offered to get us a drink while we looked at menu. Asked for...

If you're looking for plush and new and modern, this is not the place for you! If you're looking for a castle to sleep in, this is it! Beautiful building, locale, scenery and grounds! The rooms are large and have ornate (mildly, not crazy) furnishings. The bed is comfy, the TV is surprisingly good and the wifi is interesting (it's...

We visited Scotland on a 2-week Road Scholar group tour, and our 2-night stay at Tuolloch Castle was one of the highlights of our trip. Upon arrival, you immediately notice the architecture of this fine old castle, and the interior is equally interesting. our room was on the 3rd floor, and it was an adventure just finding it. Fortunately we...

We booked this castle on the strength of the Tulloch castle website description and excellent photographs, however the description and photos were extremely misleading Out hearts sank outside as they did inside once we arrived at the castle, especially the bedroom. We were genuinely disappointed and sad when we got to the castle. We cancelled our second night and stayed...
