As regular users of the restaurant at Cawsand Bay Hotel over many many years, including periods of changes of ownership, replacement Chefs etc, we have had excellent, good and poor experiences here. Having reserved a window table for a special meal last night, 15th July, my late brothers birthday, my Mother and I settled in early (6.05 pm) for what...

We stayed at the Cawsand Bay Hotel for the 2 nights over the bank holiday, may 25th and may 26th. We were a party of 6 who had 3 rooms. Room 3 was a family room which had a double bed and an inter-connecting room with 2 single beds. Room 4 was a double room and room 8 had bunk...

Fantastic location for walking the coast path between Whitesand bay and Cremill (And its a fine length of coast path). This place has so much potential on a sheltered sandy beach with many watersport choices, views of Plymouth Sound to die for, good parking, a refurbished restaurant and friendly owner. We had a yummy evening meal in the restaurant and...

I passed a very enjoyable five days at this hotel. The room had an incredible view across Plymouth Sound and I could have spent all day watching the ships come and go! The whole hotel was very clean and the staff friendly ,efficient and helpful. The manageress in particular was very welcoming and full of local knowledge .I also really...

Having decided to take the family for lunch on a Friday afternoon, this was our first time. The burger was great and the kids meals were good too. My only critique is the service staff - can someone please tell the owners or managers that the service staff needs to dress appropriately to serve food. I know they were youngish...

Having seen the reviews on here I was sceptical about the hotel but it didn't disappoint. The staff were very helpful at suggesting what to do and where to go which helped us feel like one of the locals and the manager was particularly caring, really going the extra mile for the customers needs. As said on here, the rooms...

The bathrooms are terrible the electric shower in the first room we were given didnt work so asked to be moved after 1...

Visited cawsand today specially to go for lunch and Popped in cawsand bay hotel for a bit of lunch but the chef hadnt turned up so they weren't serving food. Pretty rubbish considering its Easter holidays! Should consider back up staff or offer a limited menu instead.

Stayed at the hotel as were attending a close friends wedding. Turned out that this is where most of my family stayed for my wedding later on that year! Lovely friendly staff, reasonable rates and great wine(from what I can remember!) Beautiful, panoramic views of the bay from our room and the warm comfy bar lounge/restaurant. All in all if...

Great position, but very tired rooms. Carpets need urgent attention as very stained. Rooms require decorating and bathrooms re-tiling. Stayed in no.6 so great view but lacked any attention to simple design or furnishings although bed and chest looked new. It only takes a tin of paint! Cost per room would have been very reasonable had it not be so...
