Let’s start with the positive: the hotel is very good a meeting venue. When I arrived, the parking was so full that I could barely find a spot to leave the car to testify how busy is the place. The reception is a bit minimalistic and cold, but the crew is kind and quick. The meeting rooms a spacious and the screens of a good size. The amenities of the meeting rooms are slightly above average. Food is ready average: it’s buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner, not exactly a culinary experience. They have a small bar in the restaurant; I did not see the usual display of beverages you would expect, but we got our drinks, so no complaints there. The is a brassiere close to the hotel, but did not explore that. The rooms are really minimalistic and are rather cold. I get the energy spare and the environment, but put a damn heather in the bathroom with a thermostat then. The room interior is really telling you that the hotel is just a meeting venue; in fact the is no drawer or cabinet. As said very minimalistic. In any case I would recommend this location for any business retreat you may need to organise: it’s not high end, but it’s functional and gives you what you need…
We love to be in this hotel. It isn’t just a hotel it is much more. You feel like home and you can relax in a very high level. I love the lobby area where you can pick some coffee or tea for free and just enjoy the moment, play some board games, read a book or just sit there and relax. We’ll come back as soon as possible!
The hotel is surrounded by greenery, it is quiet and the location is quite central - you can be on the motorway in a few minutes and all tourist destinations can be reached quickly and effectively. The hotel makes a modern and trendy and overall good impression. My room was a nice size, had a suitcase rack, shelves and a pleasant desk if you want to use a laptop or similar. The bed is excellent - have rarely slept so well in a hotel. It makes a nice and friendly impression overall. The parking is free of charge. Immediately after checking in, I noticed that the rubbish bin in the room was not emptied and the contents already smelled unpleasant. If you look more closely in the corners, you can see dirt and dead insects. There were cobwebs on the ceiling and spiders were comfortably making their rounds. The room was cold. In addition, the ventilation in the bathroom cooled very intensively when the bathroom light was on. According to my understanding, the ventilation in the bathroom should rather suck the air out and not blow it in. Or? Since the fan was right above the shower, a cold wind blew on the head and body while showering. Unpleasant. The breakfast seemed varied, but was very one-sided. The same thing every day. The scrambled eggs didn't have much to do with a natural egg. I would also find it more pleasant if the kitchen staff wore gloves and did not hand out all the food (pancakes). The service staff at breakfast is mixed. One young staff member in particular struck me with her disinterest and lack of motivation, which was almost negative.…
The rooms are old Not a 4 star hotel..Luxury room:no fridge,no fridge ,no air conditioning ,old heating radiator barely,no heating in de bathroom, empty soep dispenser..!Very good ans varied breakfast .Our room was next to a wedding :noises +++ Unpleasant and ironic staff.
lovely place, kind people, fabulous breakfast and a modern decor, we were here for a wedding at the amazing Castle Kerkenbosh nearby. We had a wonderful time and slept well in the cosy room. the scenery is lovely and I am sure that if you can have a longer stay there are nice things to do near here and nature to enjoy. I would recomend staying here and appreciate the breakfast when you have the time tto.
Very good hotel. Excellent location for cycling and hiking in the Utrechtse Heuvelrug area. Beautiful terrace. Menu card could be extended. Plates could be more refined. Some rooms are rather small (bed against the wall, small douche cabin)
A wonderful location with walking path nearby in the beautyful forest. The interieure is modern and tasteful. The Staff was helpful and very nice. Breakfast has everything you need and is very tasty. I absolutely would stay there again!
Excellent on every level with an extraordinary friendly and welcoming vibe. There was a very spacious lounge with all sorts of (free) beverages making one feel instantly relaxed. All the rooms have a view on the green surroundings. The buffet styled breakfast was bountiful, with such a varied choice enough to surprise any food-lover. So it's a Yes along the whole line.
The hotel is situated in the middle of a nature park lose to Utrecht. A true gem! Discrete, spotlessly clean with spacious rooms. The breakfast was excellent, the restaurant (brassiere) decent and the staff very professional and friendly. We will definitely return!
Excellent service, with super-helpful staff. The room itself was quite small, and the bathroom felt cramped. Location was ideal for what we needed, with lots of walks in the nearby woods. The restaurant was mixed. I had Angus steak the first night, which was somewhat stringy and my wife had salmon which she said was excellent. The second night we had the fixed 3-couse menu which was excellent. We liked the always-available coffee in the common lounge area. Quite expensive for what is a 3-star hotel, I suppose we have to get used to sharply increased prices in thespost-Corona times.
