I went with a group of walkers to experience the beautiful countryside of the Sierra Norte de Sevilla, we were not disappointed. The hotel added to our pleasure; a very friendly, well run hotel in the Centre of the town. The staff were exceptionally helpful and the home cooking was excellent. The rooms were very clean, only one downfall: there...

Stayed for four nights - staff could not be more accommodating. Spotlessly clean. Food absolutely excellent. Will definitely be back. We were a party of 50 and the hotel coped brilliantly and I am sure that we will have presented them with more than one or two challenges.

Hotel good condition and interesting. Gardens and pool area very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant - home cooking to a high standard. Town very interesting, plus on the edge of some great walks.

We have just made our seventh visit to the Sierra Norte de Sevilla staying at the Hotel Posada del Moro, in the beautiful and interesting town of Cazalla de la Sierra. This hotel is elegantly charming; it has well appointed rooms with comfortable beds and spacious bathrooms; most rooms have a small balcony overlooking the beautiful terraces, fountains, gardens and...

Large and impressive rambling building with some some striking features. Lovely pool and garden . Room was fine, clean and comfortable. Staff friendly and willing but with limited English. Whole place seemed reminiscent of a bygone era and largely empty- Although the bar was quite busy with locals and the outside terrace, on the road edge, seemed popular for eating....

Good value and family run. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast OK if you like cake early morning! - but this is Spain. The town is doing it's best as a tourist destination with a vibrant atmosphere in the mornings and some good restaurants in the evenings. However this is off the beaten track and the Posada no doubt suffers from...

Perfectly good hotel, without some of the atmosphere of other hotels in the area, but with large gardens and swimming pool - great in summer. Good location within walking distance of the centre of this small and interesting town

I have withdrawn my original review because, like another contributor, I too spoke little Spanish and on the morning of our departure was persuaded that our bill was wrong and needed items added. On arrival in the UK, I then realised that we had in fact paid for five dinners and had only stayed for four nights. Repeated e-mails have...

Some aspects of our stay were excellent - the gardens with swimming pool, fountains and trampoline were super and the bedrooms were nicely furnished. There were several stylish sitting areas both on the patio with an awning and inside the hotel and there were lots of books on the bookshelves in the public areas. However, there were several negative aspects...

The Posada del Moro is perfectly situated in the small town of Cazalla de la Sierra with its many bars and restaurants. The hotel looks amazing inside with a very grand feel to the decor and the grounds are great. The room we stayed in was emaculately clean. My only complaint was the breakfast. When I stay in a hotel...
