A hidden gem near the Atlantic coast! This hotel is absolutely fantastic with great facilities. It has a big enough outdoor pool, a good sized and clean heated indoor pool, a nice gym, restaurants, lobby bar. Grounds ara fantastic (27 holes golf course wraps the entire neighbourhood!) and maintained well. It's ideal for golf lovers or for anyone who appreciates tranquility. The hotel has a beach club on the beach with bar and a pool if beach holiday is your thing. Management is very good, too. The hotel upgraded their heating to renewable wood pellet which is a very smart move given issues with gas supply in Europe. Also, in low season they started extensive maintenance works. The biggest asset is the staff. Everyone was courteous, friendly and super helpful. Whenever we needed help or assistance they did they best to help us going the extra mile, doing that with a smile. Also, it's a dog friendly place which was a huge bonus as we were travelling with our fur baby. We would like to thank again all the staff for their kindness and excellent customer service. Special thanks goes to the front desk manager Salva who made our stay unforgettable and our maid Sonia, who poured love on to our little dog whenever they met. We are looking forward to return. …
We stayed here in July for 5 nights in a 1 bed room suite. The stay was a pleasure! The hotel was recently refurbished and it shows! The suite was excellent and the daily cleaning was superb ! The pool area was nice. The breakfast room area was great. The buffet choice was ample (with a egg station) and the set-up was mirrored, allowing enough space and distance for guests. All in all, worth coming back for.
What a nice resort! The staff were so friendly and helpful! Especially the reception staff. The resort was in a good location to visit differwnt areas or just rwlax on the beach nearby. We took one day and drove into Portugal along the Algarve coast. The breakfast buffet had a huge variety and was delicious. We enjoyed a couple of the themed dinner buffets as well. The rooms were clean and spacious. Definitely will be back!!
I redeemed 2 diamond honors reward nights to provide rooms for myself and family for one night at this wonderful hotel. I was pleased that it was very clean and well maintained. It was also close to the beach and the city center amenities. We really enjoyed our stay thanks to the hospitality of the staff and were pleased with the upgrade we received at check-in.
We stayed here for 4 weeks during October. Upon check in as a Diamond member we were given an amazing 2 bedroom suite because I had asked for a bathtub ..amazing service. All of the staff were brilliant and were really helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great with a lot of choice and the ability to request eggs, omelettes etc freshly made for you. Loved the clubhouse too great for a late lunch. We are not golfers so it was really peaceful around the hotel. An easy 15 min walk from Islantilla with supermarkets and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back
The General Manager and Front Desk Staff treat their Hilton Honors Members VERY well! I am a Hilton Diamond member and the general manager went out of his way to make sure my wife and I were treated well with a room with a nice golf course view. This is our second time staying here (stayed here last March also) and we’re already talking about returning in Spring next year. This Hotel has a lot of character and charisma, overlooking a large golf course with beautiful grounds, and the people that work everywhere on the property are so friendly and go out of their way to be helpful. They like to show off Spain (and who wouldn’t - this area near many beaches is an outdoor person’s paradise) - but they also genuinely want you to have a good time - which we did. Breakfast was also great with lots of choices and ran long till 10:30 am which we appreciated if someone wants to sleep in - plus we tried the Sunday evening Tapas Buffet they had at their in-house restaurant, which was fabulous and they even served gelato for dessert. Many thanks to the hotel general manager and front desk staff - this Hilton Property is a hidden ‘gem’. I highly recommend whether you are a Hilton Honors member or not - and we will definitely be back very soon!…
Sound isolation between the rooms is bad, especially the wall mounted tv is very audible in the next room. The food has improved a bit since our last visit. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The indoor pool is down quite a bit in temperature, way too cold for my taste,
While this is a lovely hotel the bar has been spoilt by awful renovations. If you stay here the entertainment is not every night snd finishes to early by 10.30 pm Some bar staff are rude and not helpful.
We stayed one night during our drive to Portugal so we only had dinner & breakfast, didn't try other services. Very large, spacious resort with free parking. Large, modern and bright room with the comfiest bed. Buffet dinner was delicious and the breakfast was also plentiful althought very full and busy. A really good stay in good value for money.
If you are considering this hotel and like Cold food Poor service Golf course over played This is for you It’s sold as a golf resort but you can’t get breakfast before 8am / no good if you are playing at 830am Tables not cleared in the restaurant Food always cold Bar service - saw 6 queuing for service one evening Strange but you couldn’t get ketchup - pretty basic for a cooked breakfast. The golf course could be good but there are huge bare patches on some greens, tees and some areas watered overnight to the extent we had to take relief!! I’ve never seen a green keeper drive a truck over yellow and red tees, unbelievable!! Only 18 holes available during our week Half of one green covered in sand, the other side not touched (11th). There is a desperate lethargy amongst the staff, not many speak any English so ordering drinks in the restaurant and bars was difficult. Only 2 news channels in English. This is the 2nd time we have been here and Hilton have certainly not improved it at all. Black mould around the bath which is something you should never have in a hotel. Room attendants were very helpful as long as you kept asking for milk for coffee and bath towels!!!…
