Our stay at I Melograni del Chianti was beyond our expectations and more. The dramatic views of the surrounding Tuscan valleys and hills were breathtaking. The location was exceptional in the fact that we were close to Florence, Siena, San Gimignano and many hilltop towns exploding with culture. We stayed a total to 10 nights and wanted more. The accommodations...

We experienced an outstanding stay at I Melograni del Chianti. The location was perfect and very central to Florence, Chianti, Siena, and the Tuscan Hill towns. Serena went out of her way to help us plan each day's activities with ideas, maps, tickets, parking suggestions, even a list of restaurants for many of the Tuscan towns. The accommodations were great...

The setting is absolutely gorgeous and our family, including the dog, loved to spend time just walking through the olive groves and taking in the sights. The villa is situated perfectly between Florence and Sienna so there is ample "sight-seeing" available if you want to venture into a larger city. Serena is a wonderful hostess and made us feel very...

I Melograni del Chianti was the perfect place for us two couples. We had been to Italy before on a tour bus, and we were ready to truly experience Tuscany on our own. We wanted to visit Tuscany in the less-traveled places and at a less-busy time of year. Serena was the perfect hostess (and she makes pretty good Chianti...

We had the pleasure of staying 7 nights in Melograni del Chianti and it was memorable. Fantastic set up and comfort, breathtaking sceneries and a very charming host (Serena). The location is ideal for travelling throughout Toscany; it is close to all major attractions and cities while perched in the mountain and surrounded by olives and grapes ! We were...

Delightful and simply charming - words to describe our two bedroom stone villa, one of seven set in the holiday retreat of I Melograni del Chianti. This very fine complex perched high in the hills of central Tuscany commands an absolutely stunning view of the rolling Tuscan landscape. The villa itself was clean, well appointed and very comfortable - the...

My husband and I have been to Italy several times, but this time we wanted to spend some time in Tuscany, exploring some of the lovely hill towns and getting a feel for the lifestyle of this area. We also were traveling with friends who had never been to Italy and obviously, they wanted to see all of the usual...

We came to celebrate our 30th anniversary, and it could not have been better. The location, the views, and the room were all exactly right. Serena was extremely welcoming and helpful. We got wonderful restaurant recommendations, tips on parking in Florence and Siena, and suggestions on local walks and farmers' markets. Be sure to try her wine and fig jam...

We spent in I Melograni del Chianti two brilliant weeks. When we arrived to Melograni was dark but next day when we woke up we saw the most beautiful view in our live. Vineyards and vines which were seen from the window of our room look wonderful. The apartments are clean and look very friendly. The neighborhood is quiet so...

“I think with this particular property any of the room locations would work well in the conditions in which we stayed (Sunny, Temperatures mid 20s c. and no rain). We only experienced unit #5 which was a great size for a couple and had a semi-private patio which we used extensively for breakfast and dinner. We could not connect to WiFi from our unit and had to go to the central area by the pool to check email etc.. This was not a great inconvenience in the kind of weather we had, however could prove awkward in rainy weather.”
