Ask for a room with the view over the gardens and valley. There is a little pool and a nice restaurant for lunch. Breakfast is disappointing with uninspiring coffee, tinned fruit and dull choice of breads. Could do better!

This hotel is very well situated within the Pienza city walls. Pienza is a good starting point for wine tasting in a/o Montepulciano and Montalcino and for visiting Val d’Orcia. The hotel has an excellent restaurant and the resto staff was very helpful for identifying wineries to visit. Breakfast is OK but not at the level of dinner. The resto...

I stayed there for a few days and everything was perfect from my very late arrival (they even managed to prepare some snacks at 2 am...) to my departure. the location is simply the best in Pienza, the hotel has an amazing swiming pool, a perfect view from the terrasse and many spots to chill with a book. My room...

Having been in this beautiful place, I wanted to bring my partner to see Pienza and what better place to see it than this beautiful hotel with the most magnificent views. Friendly staff and a stunning position - what more is there to say. This evening we had a list dinner drink and watched the sun go down - life...

This hotel has a very rich history - it’s housed in a former convent built in the fifteenth century and is built on the hillside facing the Val D’Orcia . We reserved a view room and it was amazing - like something out of a story book. (you have to specify a view room when making reservations - well worth...

I enjoyed my stay a lot here. The view from the room was breathtaking period. The lady staff was really kind and helpful, kinda gave me a feeling that my mom's there, that friendly. Breakfast was good enough to start your new day and it's such a great venue to hold a small gatherings or to have dinner. Lication is...

Housed in an old convent in the centre of the town, this hotel has much going for it - especially the location, the blissfully quiet rooms and stunning views. However our room, which was probably two cells originally, was tired, That said, it was perfectly comfortable, the bathroom was large and both the bedroom and the bathroom had splendid views...

We returned once again to Il Chiostro di Pienza for a couple of reasons; Pienza itself is a darling tiny medieval village and it makes a good base from which to explore southern Tuscany, including the famed wine villages of Montepulciano and Montalcino, plus it is easy to get into and out of compared to the foregoing towns. Unfortunately, Il...

Although we stayed in this hotel only for one nigt, I have a lot to say about! Starting from friendly service, architecture (amazing yard), interior that is so cozy. The hotel itself does not feel as ordinary hotel. It felt like we were living in the castle. During the breakfast, we had a very nice view (for that you have...

Staying here for 1 week. Booked through Citalia. Swimming pool not in use so this applies to sun beds also. Today at 4.30pm no service for drinks on the Terraza. Oh dear! Hope next week's venue doesn't let us down. Fortunately rooms ok tho breakfast is nothing to write home about.
