We could only manage one night in Tuscany so I was thrilled when we arrived at Poggio Tobruk to see the situation, on a hill with an amazing vista on 3 sides. After a very wet day a very warm welcome awaited us, both from the manager and the warmth of our mini apartment. We bought a lovely bottle of...

Had a horrible experience staying here. The location is pretty and the rooms are nice, but the management has no idea how to run a business. We woke up one morning with no electricity and no running water. Manager said he knew we would have no electricity or water, but that he forgot to tell us! There was no apology,...

Accommodation is on a hill thus offering panoramic view of the surroundings. Clean air, peaceful and comfortable stay. Host Marco was very friendly and provided info on where to eat and visit. He even guided us to a nice restaurant on our first day as we looked tired and probably a bit lost.

We loved Poggio Tobruk. Frederico and Marco were excellent hosts, friendly, great to chat with and helpful about places to visit. They lent us their mountain bikes for a day where we explored the dirt roads up to a vineyard, Capitoni Marco for wine tasting near Pienza (very nice wine, a bottle of which you can have with an excellent...

Location of Poggio Tobruk can not be better. It is in the middle of Toscana, everything is close. The view in stunning! Marco and his collegues are extremely friendly and helpful. The place itself is brand new, top quality. Probably this is the only place in Toscana where they turn the heating on when it is getting cold. Breakfast is...

Brothers Marco and Federico treated us like royals. Our room, super clean and with a comfortable and modern bathroom, had beautiful views with a terrace looking over the Tuscan hills, and space to practice Yoga in the mornings. Breakfast is served usually by Federico, always asking if you want something special and open for a lovely morning conversation. The house...

Stay here for 3 nights and was impressed by the sincere service provided by Federico. Do not hesitate to ask him for his recommendation on restaurants or even which spot to photograph the beautiful landscape, he will show you precisely where to go.
