My wife and I have travelled several times to various parts of Europe and have had all levels of service. But Il Molino del Ponte tops them all. People sometimes say they were treated like family but Giorgio and his wife treated us better than family. We stopped here in the afternoon just because it was the closest GPS hotel...

1 night stay on a last minute booking as usual for me. The owners are very good people and bent over backwards to make sure everyone was happy. I was lucky to show up on a night that some wonderful folks trekking across Europe on motorcycles were their. The owners and guests hung outside chatting, having a few drinks and...

Stayed here for only two nights in July 2015. Great hotel if you don't want to spend any time in the actual hotel and want to travel around because the location is great. Otherwise, there's not much to do in the hotel. The pool isn't a real pool, it's a blow up type one and the restaurant's pretty small. Lovely...

We highly recommend il molino del ponte for your holiday in Tuscany. The rooms are big and comfortable and fully equipped, and immaculate presentation. We thank our lovely hosts Giorgio and Viola for their generous hospitality and allowing us to feel right at home. The food and wine were truly exquisite especially the barbecue meal we enjoyed together with other...

My Friend and I were driving back in early from Florence to the Naples when we got lost, and so we started looking for a vacancy for the night. We came upon Hotel Il Molino del Ponte, and decided to check and see if we could find a room for the night. Thankfully, the family who own this hotel also...

This is gem of a place to stay in somewhat out of the way spot in Tuscany. The owner couple is very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a four-bed apartment. It was clean, roomy and quiet. We hardly noticed other guests. Wifi works in a public area close to the front desk. If your room is close, it might...

We had a street address but no GPS coords and we overshot the hotel on the first pass. There were plenty of signs and we saw the restaurant sign. We had to turn into the drive to see the hotel sign.George and Viola were so nice and welcoming. They suggested a restaurant and made our reservation for dinner later that...

I recently stayed at this hotel with a school group on a trip to Italy. For such a large group we were very happy. The rooms were almost as big as a small apartment and featured a small stove top, sink, refrigerator, pull-out couch, cabinet, and large shower. We found out on the first day that our shower squirted water...

Ideal for exploring both the Tuscany countryside and Florience. Giorgio was an incredible host! His English is passable, but his warmth and generosity need no language. We stayed in an apartment with air conditioning and a kitchenette. Very nice breakfast buffet with outdoor seating. There's a small swimming pool on premises as well. Access to Florence is via bus at...

“If you speak German, it's a plus. My German was from my years in the Air Force while stationed in Europe, traveling frequently to Germany. Never thought it would come in handy in Italy! :)”

“The AC in our room struggled with the July heat, making sleep uncomfortable at times. Leaving windows open wasn't an option due to the mosquitoes. Other rooms may have better air flow or beefier AC: might be worth checking ahead of time if you're staying during the summer.”
