What can I say, everything about our 4 day stay at Villa Rosalena was perfect. Room was very clean and spacious. Rod was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Each day our continental breakfast had an added extra and my particular favourite wss caramel apple croissants. Fabulous and we will definitely be visiting again. A fantastic bed and breakfast set in the foothills of Bagni di Lucca. Rod is a excellent host and is always happy to help. We have visited Villa Rosalena many times and will continue to do so. The rooms are spacious with enquire facilities and our room - pannacotta - has wonderful views of the rive and Ponte a Serraglio.
Second time we have stayed at Villa Rosalena, we had another wonderful time, the place in immaculate and the host Rod is delightful, the views of the river from our room was stunning. We have already recommended this beautiful B & B to friends and family and we will definitely return ourselves. Thank You !!
I just can't say enough about Rod and their place in Bagni di Lucca. From start to finish it was a slice of perfection. Rod picked us up and made 2 trips to get us and our bags to his place. He graciously walked us through the place, was attentive to every detail, made up an extra bed for us, and the list goes on. Here are a few things that made this place perfect: 1. The view - wow is all I can say. Simply astounding! 2. The space - a beautiful, well equipped place to stay. 3. Comfort - comfortable beds, hot water, towel warmers, fireplace with wood provided, the list could continue 4. Amenities - There were movies, a Wii, board games, TV, soaps/shampoo, etc all available for our use 5. Hospitality - There's simply something great about someone who clearly loves what…
We have just returned after spending 5 nights at Rosalena, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and have only praise for the B and B run by Rod and Caroline. Rosalena is a beautiful, very clean well run B and B. Rod is very accommodating and went out of his way to help us during our stay. He helped us with lifts to/from the station with our luggage, he helped us with purchasing bus tickets, lent us guide books and maps for exploring as well as making recommendations for places to visit or eat near by. Every morning we were offered a tasty selection of fresh fruits, cereals, breads, cheese, meats or a hot option such as scrambled egg. The views from our room (Cioccolato) across the valley were stunning. Rosalena has - number of little sun spots where you can sit and soak up the sun,…
