In the ancient thermal city of Bagni di Lucca, between Lucca and Garfagnana’s area, La Torre is situated on a dominating position in the valley, formed by the confluence of the Lima stream with the Serchio river. The building’s origins are in the 1500, and for many years was the house of the wealthy Clarke sisters from Minnesota (USA), then became a center of studies of the Bologna University.Abandoned in the early 90’s, La Torre was bought by the Tintori family and after many years of work, today it has returned to its ancient splendour thanks to a careful job of restoration of the agriculture and its buildings.Surrounded by olives and chestnuts trees, Paolo and Laura are glad to welcome you in the six apartments (from 42 to 74 square meters) or in the five bedrooms, with elegant furnished in the Tuscan rural style and built in the constructions which were once used by the farmer.Four of apartments are called “ALLOGGIO” composed of a bedroom with a double bed, a bathroom, a living room and a small kitchen. The other two apartments are called “CASA” with more than 70 square meters, composed of two twin bed rooms, a bathroom, a large living room and a kitchen. All the apartments have an independent entrance as well as a table placed outside, heating, Sat television, telephone, a comfortable couch-bed and some with a fireplace. All the bedrooms have private bathroom, heating and air conditioning, mini bar, sat television.During your summer stay you can use the swimming pool, we use the advanced “sea salt electrolysis” disinfecting system that avoids the use of chlorine. You also have the illuminated bowls area, the table-tennis, mountain bikes, a coin washing machine, internet point with wireless area, playground for children and two barbecue. At the characteristic restaurant you can have breakfast or dinner with special typical menus prepared with what we produce in the farm and the local products.

If you’re in Bagni di Lucca you must go to Le Torre. Situated way up on a mountain the pink walls of this pretty agriturismo can be seen from the road below. Everything is made on the premises and vegetables and herbs grown right there. The antipasti are vast and delicious. All the homemade pasta is delicious especially the tordelli. The secondi always change by the season but are very very good. The service is friendly and professional and the views outstanding. The price is moderate and excellent value.

The room was lovely, the views were amazing and all the food at the restaurant in the evening was incredible - tasty and reasonably priced, with a changing daily menu. V good pool also. Paolo was extremely welcoming.

Albeit a hairy drive up to this Agriturismo, the grounds, buildings and views cannot be faulted. Very quiet and relaxing, with lovely big rooms with A/C and Grohe bathroom instillations! The included breakfast was nice, with jams etc made on site, but the dinners are exceptional, all home cooked using produce grown on the farm/locally sourced. The swimming pool, although salt water, is positioned as to receive maximum sunlight, so it's very easy just to spend the whole day by the pool! However remember insect repellent! The staff at this agriturismo all welcoming; owned by Paolo, front of house, Laura, who works in the kitchen making the fabulous food, and Marcela. There is free wifi however it doesn't stretch up to the rooms and is fairly slow. A definite must do is the pasta course - you make all your own pasta and then enjoy it in various delicious sauces!

A beautiful farm 20km north of Lucca in Bagni Di Lucca. Beautiful grounds, great views, and a very nice pool. The breakfast is really nice and is very satisfying. We had dinner one night and everything is homemade. It was really good. Good service. The rooms were clean and comfortable.
