We only wanted to stay here one night but we fell in love with this place, the food and the people. So we stayed two nights. And will come back! Authentic sweetnesses, beautiful setting and so much care is all over. Daniela explained us a great tour to drive in our land rover in the mountains, and that gave an experience for life! Beautiful chestnut groves, grassy hills and rocky mountains. She cooks the best Italian food based on quality ingredients and love. It is SO tasty. The place is founded on an idea to have as little environmental impact as possible. You feel as one with nature here.

This is a beautiful, peaceful place to stay with stunning scenery, amazing home cooked food and buckets of rustic charm. Daniela who runs the place went out of her way to ensure we had a fabulous stay. We were up graded to an apartment with incredible views. I would recommend having the evening meal. It is great value and exceptionally good. Most of the food is sourced from their farm and served with very good local wine. I definitely recommend the homemade ravioli with homemade ricotta and spinach.

This was a fascinating experience. The drive to the self-sufficient hill-top farm from Lucca was great fun and full of great scenery. The drive up to the restaurant was a little treacherous but very interesting. The food was beautiful. Very well cooked Italian cuisine and very, very cheap.
