Villa San Pio X is an old home with a great past. Unfortunately the house has been restore in a different style. If you like the old part ask to have a room in the old floor. The price is right and honest very if you looking to save money. The place is very clean, the room are big and the bathroom are fine. The forniture is old, but the towels and bed sheets are good. If you like to get the most of your money you can stay at 20 minutes from Lucca and 40 minutes from Abetone mountain. If you like to eat there ask what you need and they will accomodate you. Don't think that you are in a Villa don't expect a Royal service, but the staff is very helpful and kind.

One of the worst restaurant tried. The wine is ok, Seems impossible eat so bad in italy The service is cute and care to the clients. The restaurant is nice and the toilettes clean but if you like to enjoy the italian food this is not the right place.

We went there twice on our holiday for dinner .such a warm welcome from the owners and the food was great .not an extensive menus but very homely .great pasta dish with meat sauce and the pizzas are delicious .wonderful views from the garden terrace .the place was filled with local Italian families so we knew we'd got it right! It's a whole family affair from the cook to the waiter Daniel who ,by the way spoke great English and couldn't do enough for us .charming place and lovely home made food great views and only €40 for two courses including wine for two people

We found this delightful hotel and restaurant just outside of bagni di lucca. The pizza had been recommended to us and it was wonderful - the best we've had in all of Tuscany. Though a bit hard to find - we did find signs to follow - it was well worth the effort.
