Best place in Italy! When we first book it, David sent us an e-mail explaining that they are english and do not speak italian. We speak american english, but the british accent was not a problem. We stayed in the Red room, the room was lovely and cozy, with a great bed, frigobar, water and some snacks as a courtesy, there were also an eletric kettle and a small coffe maker. Our private bathroom had a bathtub and a good shower. The breakfast was delicious. David is kind and funny. We wish we could had stayed more days.

Wonderful vila from high to explore Pisa, and surrounding areas. Lovely room with very comfortable bed, lounge chairs and bath. Our hosts Richland and Lynn provided a lovely breakfast each morning on the sunny balcony area. Close enough to town to all each day for dinner and gelato. Highly Recommend this beautiful B&B

Villa Moni was in ruins when it was purchased by its current owners Lynn and David in 2014. Since then the building has been renovated throughout with an eye to maintaining the original architectural integrity of this period villa. Guest bedrooms are themed by color. My favourites included the red room - with romance its intention and bordello like furnishings - and the cool almost seaside tones of the green room. Each of the rooms has a curl-up-in-able armchair or two, a small refrigerator with cold water, coffee and tea making facilities, and a welcome basket of small treats. On the “essentials” - hot water is plentiful and very hot, showers and bathrooms are a very high standard, and each room is supplied with a hairdryer and Wi-Fi. The continental breakfast - fresh fruit salad, croissants. warm rolls, a selection of cereal - is substantial enough to set you up for the day. The ancient spa town of Bagni di Lucca is only a 20 minute drive from the walled city of Lucca for which it is named. It is also situated at a convenient crossroads for Florence, Pisa, and the coastal resorts of Cinque Terre. If you’re touring this part of Tuscany, Villa Moni is a must.

We stayed at Villa Moni for two nights at the end of June. It was a splendid choice for visiting this beautiful little river town! David and Lynn were gracious hosts and went over the top to make sure we were comfortable. Our charming room was light breezy with two windows and the bed was divine! David showed us around the garden and even in the cantina below the Inn. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Lovely place and lovely folks!
