This is fast becoming our Italian home from home. Excellent again and still get the same wonderful feeling of splendid isolation and yet close to so much. The homemade wine, olive oil and honey are all AMAZING. See you next year for more genuine italian hospitality (and the wine, olive oil and honey of course) !
Having stayed at their sister property we decided to give it a go and boy we weren't disappointed. Well appointed apartments. Stunning gardens and views. If you want to get away from the hoards stay here. Loved it so much we booked the same apartment for the same time next year whilst there.
When we got there, we were stunned by the place. Such a beautiful garden. Each corner was decorated so beautifully. The smell of flowere were breath taking. The appointment which was the closest to the pool was ours. It was super clean. The town people were very nice. Alexandro and valentino were super nice to us and answered all of our questions about the town. The pool was very clean and Alexandro attended the property everyday to make sure everything was in order. We will go back next year. We do recommend this place A it is big, Affordable, safe and clean . Also again, the owners were super kind. I purchased the organic honey and home made vine. Wfi worked pretty well so did the TV channels.
On arrival I was captured by the beautiful views, gardens and smells of jasmine, rosemary, honeysuckle. Very well tended grounds We spent a week in one of the apartments. Lovely! Clean, views from the pool were amazing ( all the way down to the Devils Bridge ) and everything we needed. Hosts were very welcoming and worked hard every day cleaning and up keeping the fabulous gardens Tips. Definitely need a car but actually the walk to Fornoli ( nearest village ) is really fine and there are cute wee walk ways you can explore to reach the village. Village has a co op and some cafes. Great location to explore from. Would love to return and perhaps book the apartment with the balcony for a double hit of the views!!
This is in a lovely setting. Our apartment was on the ground floor and it had everything we needed. The furnishings weren't plush but they were fine for our short break. The pool was too cold to swim in because it was late September but around the pool was a real suntrap. We struggled to find the apartment but we were met by the owner who directed us. The wi fi was a bit patchy.
After arriving at Pisa airport, picking up a hire car and getting lost, I would highly recommend having a sat nav system. Although the directions are good it took us from 18.30 until 02.50 to eventually find the apartment from Pisa. Apartment is very spacious and comfortable with superb views. I would suggest taking coffee, milk, sugar etc. for your morning cuppa. However, if arriving before the local supermarket closes, all can be bought there. All in all a perfect place to base for many attractions within an hours drive.
we stayed here for one week in september. Had the appartment on top floor, 50m2 with terrace. Great view and lovely pool. Supermarket within 5 min drive. It was clean and kitchen was good. Recommend it to others.
