This place is beautiful. Our room was the best we experienced while traveling in Italy, France, Spain and Portugal. We had a small patio, surrounded by hedge. A small opening through the hedge led to the pool. Great service by everyone at the hotel.
I stayed here with friends to attend a wedding. My expectations were exceeded! We enjoyed our wine tasting with Niccolo who kindly fit us in on a busy afternoon. We stayed in an apartment in the village and there was so much charm there! It...More

Our travel agent booked a privAte transfer with TravelBound from Santa Maria Novella train station in Florence to the hotel in Artimino. There were 6 of us and the cost was 64 USD one way. My agent was told during booking that the driver only speaks the local language, and that they don't do pick-ups from hotels. Well, the driver turned out to be conversant in English and he told us they DO pickup at hotels. So there was a disconnect between TravelBound and their local contractor in Florence. Our agent was told that it's recommended we have a phone to use locally so that we can call their office if we have problems. We had a slight glitch due to a misunderstanding in the pickup point at the station but we called their office and the issue was resolved in no time. The ride was about an hour with traffic. We were there the latter part of Sept 2017. We loved the apartments we stayed in and the grounds. Beautiful venue for a wedding.
