Hotel is located in a small, quiet town by Swiss border. It consists (at least to my knowledge) of two buildings. The main building is with a receptionist and a restaurant, and we stayed across the street in other building, which seemed to be adapted old warehouse/factory building. But nicely remodeled, with interesting art and very cool pool on the...

I stayed here for 2 nights on business. The hotel is a lovely privately owned hotel in the town of Castello. I was escorted to my room by the receptionist when I arrived and showed the air conditioning controls and tv etc. The room was really big with a King Size bed. The bathroom was huge, with full size tub...

We spent one night in this hotel on our way to our holiday location in Tuscany. We stayed with our two children, age 15 and 19, in a family room. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The swimming pool on the rooftop was very nice. We didn't eat supper in the hotel. The breakfast was very good for the...

The first sight of the reception area suggests a somewhat disorganised establishment but in fact, with comfortable large rooms, a seriously good restaurant and a warm welcome this is an excellent hotel and restaurant. We have stayed twice and each time have been impressed with the both the rooms and the restaurant. The owner is unobtrusive but always on hand...

We stayed here for an overnight stopover on our way home from Italy. We had a family room in the loft style part of the hotel, a bit shabby (2 out of the 3 windows wouldn't open and shower room, a concrete box in the middle of the room with no ventilation, needed a refit). Wifi didn't work very well...

We stayed a long weekend in August for a wedding at Albergo Madonnina (the hottest days in Northern Italy within the last decade). Our stay was fabulous. The place is such a hidden gem, with all the lush gardens and different buildings from beautiful old italian design to modern Soho style lofts. The small swimming pool at the roof top...

We drove back from holiday in Tuscany and made a stop overnight in Cantello in this amazing place. Totally unexpected in this small village. The rooms are so cozy and beautiful and they also offer very unique spots and facilities for marriage or other events. The owners are artists, which explains the very unique way of interior design, of furniture and...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Madonnina hotel to the extend that we felt like home. Roberto, the owner, was almost alone there as we booked at the period where restaurants are mostly closed. Nevertheless, Roberto was very caring and showed excellent hospitality. He made sure we had whatever we needed, gave us really good recommendations, reserved the best...

Went two times at the Madonnina Restaurant, in two different situations and the outcome was pretty different. First I went in October with my girlfriend for dinner. Unfortunately the nice patio surrounded by trees and flowers cannot be used in winter, so the dinner is served in a ancient and pretty cold hall. The atmosphere is pretty cold, there were...
