The hotel is in a wonderful location with plenty to do in the surrounding area. There are two main drawbacks to the hotel: the hotel is much keener to book weddings and wedding parties than ordinary guests. As a result, guests are denied entry to the restaurant when a party takes place.During our stay, secret agents tried to prevent us...

My husband and I travelled to this lovely villa just outside Rome for our first holiday with our daughter. Although our daughter is one year old I was a little nervous about our holiday. Holidays are so much different with children. I was also a little nervous over the mixed reviews i had seen for this hotel. It is true...

For anyone who wants easy access to Rome but appreciates the peace and quiet of a beautiful hotel to retreat to, this is it! The hotel is stunning, and set high on a hill with panoramic views of Rome below. Whilst most of the guest rooms are in two separate buildings to the main house and therefore not so grand,...

My wife and I have made over 30 trips to Italy and have stayed allaover the country, usually in 4 star facilities. This was our first visit to castelli romani and we found the hotel and the towns of frascati and grottaferrata interesting and friendly. The hotel staff was attentive and helpful. Although the dinner menu was quite limited, the...

I agree with the recent reviews, lovely hotel, good service, a bit out of the way re: Rome, etc. So, I'll just add the one additional thing you should know, if staying here in the summertime: **********NO AIR CONDITIONING ON DEMAND!************ Apparently, the manager believes that since Grazioli is on a hilltop outside the city, summer nights are cool enough...

We reserved the Parkhotel Villa Grazioli for a Sunday night in mid-May through Expedia and received a fabulous rate, less than 1/2 of the published tariff. We thought it too good to be true. We were right. While the hotel's public areas dotted with frescoes and antique pieces are gorgeous and very five star, the service was barely three star....

Based on the pictures and the description of the hotel, also here on TripAdvisor, we decided to stay at the Villa Grazioli for the last night of our holiday in Italy, before flying home early from Ciampino. We got a double room for €140, which was a bit more expensive than I am used to, but considering the location and...

We satyed in Grazioli the week before Easter weekend. The main obstacle was getting there. We flew to Ciampino, so the best way is to hop on the train (station is ten minute taxi ride) to Frascati, where the hotel will send down the suttle bus. (Best to ring them when you get there). Frascati and the hotel are a...

A great view over Rome. Frascati is a great town. Dinner needs help. The rooms in the side buildings are standard "Marriott-style" but is understandable. Get an upper floor room. Breakfast is wonderful - wow! Bed smelled like fried foods (my wife said this). Staff is superb.

We stayed in Villa Grazioli on the last evening of a 16 day Italian vacation after loving our other four (4 star) hotels. It was very difficult to find the hotel based on the written directions they provided and, though we did not get lost the next day, it took over an hour to get to the Leonardo di Vinci...
