We stayed at this hotel because we were part of a wedding. When we first got there the views from the terrace takes your breath away but when we saw our room, that's another story. You could kill yourself trying to get out of the shower. You have to maneuver between the toilet and the sink. The shower leaked onto...

Just returned from the Amalfi coast, chose this hotel for its location and its alleged charm. Went there to start the celebrations for my birthday. Asked for a good room with views, sunny, bright and something special. Ended up with a small room facing the rear alley way leading up to the village. No air conditioning, some guests had to...

It only makes sense with the balcony seaview room. Actually, not. It's a very good hotel indeed: decent breakfast, large rooms and living area. Superb bar and terrace view of Vesuvius and Naples. And don't feel bad about not being in touristy Sorrento centre...you have a much more familiar experience 100m on the hotel's backyard (St Agatha city centre). Try...

I travelled solo to this hotel and stayed five days in early June. I found it comfortable and spacious, and the staff most courteous. The lounges and cocktail bar were elegant, the terraces and pool area attractive and with splendid views of Vesuvius and the surrounding countryside. The hotel mini bus into Sorrento was always punctual, and the driver friendly...

We have just returned from 10 days at the Iacarrino. The views are spectacular, but make sure that you ask for a seaview balcony room. It did make all the difference. We loved the fact that we were away from bustling and very touristy Sorrento, high up in the hills. The complimentary bus is very useful. Head waiter and his...

Sorrento had never been on our radar until we were invited to a wedding there in early June 2013,it was beautiful. The Hotel offered beautiful views over the bay of Naples and the town of Sorrento below us. Most of the staff at the Hotel were charming, especially in the restaurant and bar, attentive and interested in our day. We...

We stayed here for 2 nights following a walking holiday around the Amalfi Coast. We specifically chose this hotel as we did just want a couple of days of R & R by a swimming pool. We were not disappointed and the room that we were given, was one of two close to the pool and the snack bar. The...

This was a great hotel once we had sorted out a decent room. Initially allocated R37 - approx 11’ x 14’ with a tiny dark bathroom and best described as ‘grim’ compared to the ‘standard room’ we booked based on the brochure and shown on line. No one would knowingly book this ‘sub standard’ room for a week. Initially we...

This was our first trip to Italy and so glad we picked the Jaccarino. Some of the reviews were a bit negative but most were good so we thought we'd give it a go. We had a room on the top floor with no balcony but the view was fantastic. If you go try and get a room on the...

My Boyfriend & I are coming back a second time (July). Last year we had such a welcome (especially from Loretta on reception). Service was second to none with fabulous food & great pool/bar area. We met several guests who come year after year, indeed the feeling from all returning home with Thomson Holidays was that of sadness. Please ignore...
