My wife and I have been to this hotel on many occasions. There is a welcome here for everyone in a very special personal way. In every department there are individuals with wonderful welcoming capabilities and all done in a very professional manner. The rooms are spacious clean comfortable with views like nowhere on earth. Food is varied interesting and... More

We stayed here during the first two weeks in November. Situated several kilometres outside Sorrento at Sant'Agata, the rooms on the seaward side of the hotel offer a stunning panorama of the Bay of Naples and the brooding splendour of Vesuvius. The staff are outstanding. The village of Sant'Agata is just a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel... More

Lovely hotel with the best views i have ever seen. Amazing staff, the mini bus into sorrento was also great and free of charge which was even better. Sorrento was only a 10 minute drive. Breakfast was good.Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just come back from our holiday in Sorrento. The hotel was great. Amazing view from the balcony over looking jaw dropping Neapolitan bay and Mt Vesuvius. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Room was clean and the deco was traditional. My partner and I had lovely time there. Although a bit of distance from the Sorrento town (that's why... More

Nice people always willing to help, provided us with all the needed info right from the start and booked us a nice trip Capri. The private walk to Sant'Agata was really helpful. Breakfast was good and coffee was great.

Located on the snaking Via Nastro Verde, the road linking Sorrento to the hilltop village of Sant' Agata Sui Due Golfi the Hermitage is a deservedly popular hotel which has been very cleverly designed to snuggle into the countryside rather than tower above it. Reception is reached by lift from street level and is staffed with friendliness, professionalism and efficiency.... More

With great reviews I was really looking forward to this holiday. A very traditional style of hotel which I loved and rooms were nice. However it had the distinct feeling of 'end of season'. Shuttle bus was very limited (though the public bus ran frequently) to sorrento. Evening meal was in the main nice enough but the breakfasts were terrible.

We have just returned home after a fabulous week at the Hermitage. We arrived at 11pm at night and were surprised and delighted that we had been left a cold meal in the restaurant. We stayed on a half board basis and food was plentiful at breakfast and delicious and varied at evening meal. Our room (309) had the most breathtaking... More

We rented a car and drove to Sorrento from Rome. The drive was easy until we got to Sorrento and then the fun begins. Traffic is crazy, streets are narrow and there are no traffic signals. The road to the hotel is very windy and we thought we would never find it but we did. First impression was what a... More
