Highfield House was our first stop on a month long trip to Ireland, and it was a great choice for us. The facility is elegant, but not overwhelming. The rooms are clean and large by B&B standards. Breakfast is served in rooms with small tables, or a large dining room with one long table. The owners live on site and...

Highfield House is a beautiful old building lovingly restored. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the breakfasts are delicious. You can't beat the location close to the castle and in town trim with easy access to nearby sites. Don't hesitate to stay here.

We stayed one night at this B&B and wish we could have stayed longer. The owner was just so friendly and keeps a beautiful guest house and garden. The room was very comfortable and we had one of the best breakfasts in all of our stays. Highly recommend.

We had a large family group (7 in all) and Madeline arranged a great series of rooms for us all. Each room different and masterfully refinished. Spotless and friendly are a great combination. Trim Castle is wonderful and a family of donkey's graze in the meadow across the street. We stayed in a total of 7 B &B across Ireland...

The grounds and house/rooms are done in beautiful, rich, decor. We happened upon Highfield House after touring the Trim Castle. To our delight, they had a room available. Unfortunately I came down with an intestinal problem during the night. Couldn't even get out of bed in the morning, so my son and daughter asked about staying another night, they didn't...

Beautiful building & grounds. We had driven most of the day in the rain on "R"roads and upon our arrival we dropped our bags in our room and at the owners insistence were served tea and scones in the dining area . Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautiful. We had a room at the front and noise was not...

Recently stayed in this house which was very quaint. We only stayed for one night but we were made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was lovely and served in a lovely dining room. As it is an old building you could hear the movement of other occupants in the nearby rooms, but I suppose this is to be expected.
