We stayed at Astra Village Apartments for a week in August 2015. Astra Village is in the hills above Pythagora town, the walk up in the heat can be hard for people with poor health. That´s why hotel is not recommended for people with reduced mobility. We knew that, so it was not a problem for us. Walking everyday to... More

Great hospitality, excellent view, homemade breakfast, wifi free of charge, big enough bedroom. Housekeeping and service great. The owner Mrs. Maria is a friendly character and the hotel has a homey feeling. I would definetely visit again!

My husband and I stayed at Astra Village for a week in July 2015. We had a studio apartment with a wonderful sea view. The walk up the hill was challenging, but the views compensated well for it. The studio apartment was pretty basic, but very clean and quiet. Our balcony was really tiny - just big enough for a... More

The two of us stayed for two weeks in an apartment with two floors (bathroom and bedroom downstairs, combined kitchen and living room upstairs) and a very large terrace with a truly magnificent view overlooking the harbour out to the sea. We have stayed in many apartments in the Mediterranean area, and this one definitely made our Top 3. There... More

A highly situated hotel / apartment with nice view over the port of Pythagorion. The owner was very helpful and nice lady. Clean rooms, good service and well-functioning internet in the lobby (we had some problems with reception in our room). The air conditioning excellent. Breakfast ok. Steep slopes up to the hotel from the restaurants/beach. Overall a hotel to... More

True, it’s quite a climb up to Astra Village, but the view from the lovely, flower-filled terrace is spectacular. Even more so from the huge terrace of our 2-room apartment! We could see the whole town of Pythagorion, the sea beyond, way past the airport and even the mountains of Turkey. The terrace was off the combined living room/kitchen on... More

I reviewed lots of apartments and hotels before choosing Astra Village and I can honestly say I chose the best accommodation. It's true it's quite a steep and challenging walk down to the harbour and back! Keeps you fit though, especially after eating such gorgeous Greek food! The apartments are very spacious and clean. Yes, the bathroom is fairly small... More
