if you are going to kefalonia stay here. its a small hotel run by husband and wife with a really great friendly staff who couldn't be more helpful. (Maria is really funny too). food is excellent and competetively priced. we had room 214 which gives you a view of the sea and the fields next door. its very quiet and clean and about 30 mins walk from the capital past the italian war memorial no 2 where you will find all you need if you want to souvenir shop etc. it has its own little quiet beach which is calm depending on wind direction (most days) where a few seals come in for a late supper 6.30 ish on a regular basis. i also swam with a turtle in the beach area on my last day. lassi is a mile or so up the coast but god knows why anyone would want to go there, its rammed. going into the capital there are turtles most days by the fruit and veg shops near the ferry port, you can't miss them if they are there coz of the cameras taking photos. i cannot find anything to fault with this hotel but the chicken in the next field has to go LOL

I'm extremely late at writing this review but has to be done! Fabulous two week stay at the Liminaki September 2021. Hotel is in between Lassi resort and Argostoli in a peaceful setting. Lassi (main beaches in Lassi) and Argostoli are in walking distance (c. 35 minutes enjoyable walks). Location means that there is ample car parking should you wish to rent a car which was handy for us and being close to Argostoli was a good set off location for adventures elsewhere on the island. Hotel grounds are very large. There is a large front with sun beds and pool set back from the road (enclosed with trees so private) leading to a terrace with ample seating for breakfast/lunch/dinner/bar. The garden surrounding the property extends into the rear which leads you down to the pebbled private beach. Car park to the side is separated with trees. All staff were so friendly and helpful. Alexandria, receptionist helped us get a great deal on car rental. Katarina was also amazing. The owner who is the chef is a great cook and breakfast was always executed to a high standard with Greek specialties and greets you at breakfast. Breakfast together with other guests gives the hotel a community feel and is a great place to start a day in Greece saying Kali Mera to everyone!! Special shout out to Rikki the dog who is always there to greet you getting in for the evening. He is very friendly, calm and loves a stroke.

What a fantastic week. Staff we great and hotel immaculately clean. Great choice of food each day and they even let us use a room after we checked out as our transfer is not until the early evening. We rented a car for three days which I think is a must but taxis are only 8 euros to nearby towns. Thank you for a great week

Just had a 10 day holiday here - want to write a few words of advice. Firstly please be prepared to allow for taxis in your budget - there is no longer a bus route outside the hotel into Argostolli or Lassi so it costs 8€ each way to either restort or you will have to bite the bullet and do the 40 min each way walk to the centre of Lassi or 55 min each way walk into Argstoli. The hotel itself is one of the best 3* I’ve stayed in - lovely staff, so clean very chilled - only very small so hardly anyone around and sun beds were never full so none of that getting up at crack of dawn reserving a sun bed malarky. The hotel is so small there is no shop so you need to venture out for essentials such as obligatory lays crisps. What really really let’s this hotel down and would stop me ever returning or recommending it is their pricing for food and drink - it is simply extortionate and totally unjustifiable - I understand being in such an out of the way location they don’t have the same footfall as other places but to charge more than double (and that includes the most exclusive resorts) is bizarre - €6.50 for a draught beer!!! €3.50 for a tiny coke. Upshot is everyone goes out to eat and drink or brings their own drinks from the shops in Lassi. General consensus speaking to other guests is it’s a nice place but too remote and way way too expensive. Kefalonia is a dream but will continue my dream elsewhere if I return,

We stayed at Hotel Limanaki for 10 nights at the end of July, i have to say we were sold a sea view by our local travel agent with Jet 2 but as we found out when we arrived Jet 2 don't have a contract for the rooms with sea views, Michail the general manager was amazing and did his best to accommodate us by moving us after two days to a room with a view. The hotel was kept spotlessly clean by the cleaning staff the room we had was lovely with great air con making for a very comfortable stay. The Hotel and pool area were generally quiet through the day, as the holiday was all about relaxing for us we opted to eat breakfast lunch and dinner at the hotel every night apart from one when we ventured into Argostoli for food and i have to say it wasn't a patch on the food served at the hotel.....i miss the Red Snapper already! All the staff were amazing from Panagiotis (serving at the bar during the day) to Alexandria, Michail(already mentioned) and the lovely maria who served myself and my wife our Pina Coladas every afternoon....:) the grounds of the Hotel were a credit to Mr Harries and Miss Anna and the young man(didnt get his name ) who did a lot of watering through the day. All in all a brilliant holiday and we would love to return someday...thank you so much for your hospitality, Byron and Helen Jones.

We stayed for 2 weeks and had the pleasure of a beautiful upstairs sea facing room. I actually think we had better views than the rooms below with the huge balconies. Every morning I sat watching the seals, and on an evening watching the boats. The room was basic but adequate. Cleaned everyday. Very weak air con that did not face the beds but we managed. The only few gripes we had was the drink prices were quite expensive compared to other hotels and bars. £6.50 for a large beer compared to £3.50 elsewhere was not acceptable. Insensitive smokers around the pool and in the restaurant spoilt some days but this seemed the same everywhere around the island. It is a quiet hotel generally, until larger family groups take over the pool area. The evening restaurant area has no atmosphere and is no different to the daytime setting. Some subtle music and table cloths would go a long way. A half hour walk up the hill to the Italian monument and down to Agastoli is a nice walk, a longer coastal hour walk into Agastoli, a short cut 10 minute walk to the lovely taverna Didymakia opposite Fanari beach, and a half hour along the main road into Lassi are all lovely options. 15 minutes right out of the hotel is Oscars hotel and restaurant which is beautiful and has fantastic food. Lots of hire car options or download the app and pick up one of the many electric scooters to get you know town. We were given a late checkout room free of charge Hard working generous staff. Ricky the dog enjoys his water topping up throughout the day. Lovely base. Lovely holiday.

Just returned from Kefalonia from our 3rd visit here. Stayed again at the wonderful Limanaki Hotel in Lassi which is superb. Not sure why it only rated 3* as I'm sure this should be higher. The hotel was immaculate at all times, the restaurant is very good & the staff here are lovely. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them - they even opened the kitchen early for us so that we could have a hot meal there before returning home. Will definitely return again!

Wow what a find I cannot recommend enough. If I could give more stars I would. Staff were fantastic friendly and great hosts. They looked after us so we’ll and nothing was too much for them Rooms were decent and very clean. The beds comfortable. Views of the sea to die for. If we had an option I would have gone for the upgraded rooms for space and style. Food was brilliant and of good value. Breakfast was good and everything what I wanted. The staff kept treating us aall holiday to free food and drinks! Expect to pay about 10 - 19 euros for dinner each. I would definitely recommend the beefsteak for any hungry carnivores out there. Slightly out of the way from the tourist trails which was actually a nice thing. Beach a five minute walk was sheltered and clean. We were lucky enough to have a group of four seals stay in the coves nearby. They came to visit in the morning and early evening so keep an eye out for them. I got to swim with them which was a truly unique experience. Slightly sulphur smell of seaweed though. Pebble beach. Easy to get to Argostoli about eight euros a cab. Express supermarket in Argostoli appeared the closest shop. Would recommend this place for families as the pool is beautiful and clean. The birds loved a drink from the water too. Ricky the dog, who was looking after the place at night was living his best life. Give him a stroke from us. If you are looking for a nice relaxed break this place is totally recommended. My best tip is to hire a car to travel out of the place and visit the de bosset bridge at dusk. The logger head turtles are quite tame and come up to say hello. There are some amazing ice cream and desserts around there. Oh and go on the queen bee they are fabulous and I’m sure you will enjoy those beaches. Thank you once again to all the staff for looking after us so well. Thank you for allowing me to practice my rubbish Greek language skills on you all. τα λέμε αργότερα!

We are on our last night of a weeks stay at the Limanaki hotel and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more. The staff are amazing, so helpful nothing is too much trouble. The food is fabulous and so reasonably priced and they go out of the way to make sure you are happy. The view from the balcony is beautiful, we could see seals playing every evening and the private beach is a lovely place to swim. It’s a short taxi ride into Argostoli 8 euros if you are looking for a busier place. If I could give more stars I would! Just fantastic ❤️

Travelled as a family, my son being disabled. From the owner Mr Harries , Michael, Panos, Maria and the whole team cldn't have been more helpful, genuine in every way. Rooms were gorgeous with a fantastic view of the sea, rooms 114 and 115 on the side but still a fantastic view. Everywhere was spotlessly clean inside and out. Room cleaned and towels changed virtually every day, unusual for Greece. Fabulous rain shower and hand held shower, large, beautiful marble tiled bathroom with modern sanitary ware. Beds so comfortable. Nothing not to like. Food delicious and all staff ready to help. Situated on the Fanari road it is a little way out, we had taxis as my son cldn't walk far but maybe others cld walk one way and taxi home if not renting a car. You're about halfway between Lassi and Argostoli. Good, authentic restaurants quite nearby on way into either Lassi or Argostoli . We went into Argostoli, Lassi and a fab little gem, no frills by Argostoli campsite one night. The breeze here was much needed. Also eat in hotel on lunch times and 2 evenings which was great. Would I stay here again, most definitely. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
