The Thalassa Boutique offers a beautiful chic hotel stay offering one of the most captivating views of the Island, with incredible sunsets and beautiful blue seas, with the mountains back drop, we simply fell in love with the property and the island.

Angela and her team offer the warmest welcome and attentive service throughout, from ease of booking and ensuring we had everything we needed to have a great stay.

The hotel offers breakfast which was included in our room rate, this was served daily with a choice of inside and outside dining overlooking the beautiful bay between 8am and 11. The hotel are offering waiter service instead of buffet during covid and caters for all tastes. I personally have a sweet preference for breakfast and the local pastry cooked fresh each day was lovely.

Lunch can be taken at the pool restaurant which offers plenty of space with a choice of shade and sunshine if you need a break from the midday heat. There are cabanas and sofa seating areas too, perfect for socialising with friends. There is a relaxing ambiance with modern music and again a friendly welcome. The quality of the food from the lunch menu was excellent, a choice of smaller and larger plates which can be paired with a drink from their full bar. The cocktails were wonderful and refreshing. Food and drinks are served there between 1100 to 1800.

I can personally recommend the Junior Suites here, we had room 611, elegantly designed, spacious, with a full stand alone bath in the room and a great shower room. The fabrics and furnishings made the room feel light and airie and the balcony completes this by offering that million dollar view.

We will be planning another visit soon as it’s the perfect place to relax, unwind all within easy reach from the wonderful beaches, Lassi and Argostoli.

We have had a lovely 14 night stay , though it could have been worse, we booked a superior sea view room, when i arrived I was shocked room 608 when you open the curtains it is a terrace room and all you can see is an outside wall and what could only be defined as scrubland and an electric cable and you could only see the sea when you stood outside and looke left there was no sun during the morning or afternoon . However on telling the staff we were not prepared to stay 14 nights in this room the manager immediately said she would move us in the morning, I suppose my first concern was were they really trying to sell this as a superior sea view. (I know two other couples also later turned down this room ,) at the end the staff were great and we were given a balcony sea view room. The breakfast was the next disappointing thing no variety and no real choice , I understand the difficulties with covid but I am sure they could do better and we often had to wait such a long time for service on occasions we left without breakfast. The room was only cleaned every 5 days rather than the promise of 3 which led to us having to ask for bins to be emptied. Overall though the staff were very good in particularly around the pool. The general hotel was a lovely setting and very relaxing with magnificent pools. But what about the "ghost guest" who fir two weeks every morning booked two sun beds with books on them and never used them . The rumour was thst it was for management, which if it was it led to some guests not getting beds. One afternoon I took the towels off for a young couple. This booking of beds and not using them whoever it was for, should never happen. Overall a lovelly hotel and would recommend it but not room 608, ideally this room would be better used as a courtesy room once Covid is over or a baggage store room .

I cannot highly recommend the Thalassa Boutique Hotel enough. We have stayed in lassi for the last 18 years. Staying in all different hotels, apartments and villas. For us we discovered the Thalassa last year after our holiday was cancelled due to covid. What a blessing in disguise we absolutely love it.. the Thalassa has incredible sea views and is perfectly located for access to surrounding beaches and a 5/10 minute to the lassi strip. It’s beautifully decorated and perfectly quiet location makes it extremely relaxing and chilled.

The staff are super friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay memorable and thoroughly enjoyable. Nothing is to much trouble and you are greeted like a returning friend. Greeted every morning by all staff with either a hello, good morning, how are you? Smile and a wave..

The pool and bar area is immaculate and has lovely well kept gardens. Sunbeds aplenty and super comfortable and clean and bar area offering amazing cocktails and a great lunch menu, food was excellent.

Deluxe rooms are perfect with a massive clean comfortable beds and huge walk in shower and decorated very chic and modern, with balcony views of the impeccable pool area and well kept gardens.

We loved it so much that all my family came this year again and we have booked already for 2022. It’s definitely a MUST you won’t be disappointed!!

What a fab place we chose to spend our wedding anniversary. The room (627) was fab with spectacular views. The breakfast was limited in choice however, fresh and served with a smile. The lunch time choices were fine and we sampled the small plates with a shout out for the Tzatki and the night time wine and cocktails were fab with an happy hour to boot. Pool area was immaculate and the bar was well attended by a future ships captain in charge! Studying whilst ensuring we were well looked after. All of the staff deserve a mention as they all made us welcome and nothing was too hard for them. The maids who kept our room clean deserve a call out for the way they got on with their tasks with a smile on their faces behind their PpE. If you visit Lassi then the Thalassa hotel is well worth staying in.

It was our third time staying at Thalassa Hotel and each visit just gets better.
Our room was very light, airy and spacious with a balcony and sea view.
The pool area had two pools with plenty of good quality, comfortable sun beds, there was a nice area to sit for a good quality lunch with excellent friendly service. The breakfast room was light and airy with an outside area which had beautiful views, where you had a good buffet selection of hot and cold food and would suit everyone’s needs.
The cocktail bar was very inviting and stylish with a good selection of cocktails.
There was a small beach nearby which had sun beds and beach bar and another which was a short walk away.
Angela and her team will do their utmost to make your holiday perfect, they are all so polite and friendly.
It was a ten minute walk from the Main Street of bars and restaurants which all served a good variety of meals. You may need to take a torch or use your phone torch as the walk back is quite dark.
We would recommend hiring a car to get out and see the rest of this very beautiful island.
Argostoli is a 6/7 euro taxi ride away but worth going to for a selection of shops, restaurants and bars.

We stayed for two weeks in the lovely Thalassa Hotel and had an amazing time. The atmosphere and decor of the place is quintessential "boutique" - modern, classy, and just a little bit quirky. Our room looked brand new; it was beautiful with high ceilings, a large double bed, and a massive walk-in shower. It was also really easy to get the temperature just how we wanted it which gave us a good night sleep every night (a problem we have encountered at other hotels in the past).

We had a car and intended to travel around the island a lot more than we did. However, on most days we instead decided to spend our time hanging out by the hotel pool and eating lunch at the overlooking bar/restaurant. The pool area was really nice; it was clean and tidy with comfortable sun loungers and two excellent swimming pools.

The location is also very good - overlooking a lovely beach which you can enjoy gazing at over breakfast (or from your room) and is a few minutes walk away if you fancy some sand and sea. We would also do the short drive to Argostoli most evenings to have a wander around with an ice cream. The main strip of Lassi is also close enough to be a short walk away but not too close that you are disturbed.

Finally, the staff are lovely and friendly. They would remember our usual orders and knew what we wanted before we said it; this really made us feel looked after. The receptionist was also very helpful in helping us sort out booking some massages (along with generally helping with anything else we needed).

Top top hotel. I would highly recommend it to anybody.

I have travelled extensively throughout Greece and have visited Kefalonia over 20 times. This boutique hotel did not disappoint and has to be the best hotel I have stayed in throughout Kefalonia. The rooms are spacious, superb decor and are pristine. The staff Throughout the hotel simply cannot do enough for you. The pools and the pool area are impeccably clean. Even the sunbeds are super comfy with wonderful deep cushions. The breakfast was fabulous and the lunch menu was wonderful too. There’s are great cocktail/bar area which services up some magnificent cocktails which you should definitely sample. The location is great for a quick trip down to the beach or a short stroll into Lassi or Argostoli. This hotel is simply wonderful. You will not be disappointed. Hope to see you again very soon and thanks for a wonderful holiday 😀

I had the pleasure of staying at this hotel a few weeks ago when I visited Kefalonia.
A beautiful hotel in a peaceful location, but still very close to the capital Argostoli.
The staff at the hotel is some of the best I have ever interacted with! They are attentive, helpful, and friendly. They helped me locate a rental car the same day and got me the best price available. The breakfast buffet has a variety of choices and the staff is attentive and always there for your every desire. The hotel has a wonderful pool but is also steps away from a small and intimate beach. This is the perfect choice for someone who wants a relaxing location with the ease of being able to experience the main attractions and sites of the island. The rooms are beautifully decorated and so large with their own private balconies and drying racks for those wet towels. There are not enough words to describe this hotel and I would highly recommend it to everyone. Dreaming of my next visit!

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week in September. On our arrival, we were upgraded to a suite with a hot tub which was very kind of them. The room was gorgeous and had a lovely view of the whole harbor. We didn't rate the free breakfast but we ate at the pool bar for lunch on several occasions and the food was so delicious. My boyfriend had the pork gyros 3 times - he loved it! The hotel is in a great location. 5/10 min walk from beaches and restaurants in Lassi and a 40 min walk (or 6 euro taxi) to Argostoli.

We were unfortunately here during the medicane but the team at Thalassa did everything they could to make everyone feel safe and they provided food and drink the whole day and evening. We felt so bad that the bar area and outdoor area were so affected but by the end of the following day, it looked perfect again after all the hard work they'd put in to repair everything.

We can't thank Angela and the rest of the Thalassa team enough, we would definitely stay here again!

After a lot of research into Hotels in Kefolonia, we are currently staying in the Thalassa in a delux seaview room, which is fantastic. Contact with the Hotel before we arrived was unanswered, however don’t worry, they did responded to our mention it was our 25th anniversary on arrival with a bottle of wine and rose petals on the bed!

It is worth upgrading to the Delux seaview rooms The shower is enormous, it is within the room, but as we are a couple wasn’t a problem at all. There is a small fridge, kettle, cups and saucers and yes there are small packets of coffee and tea. We bought our own as many reviews said that there were none, however i can confirm there is! We have bought a little bottle of milk. I had read that pool towels are available at a cost of €3, which is unusual for an expensive hotel, so rather than pay this for a 10 day holiday, i bought my own with a travel wash and rinsed them through; they dried easily on a washing airer provided on the balcony. Breakfast is plentiful, continental plus bacon, eggs and varied surprises each day such as french toast, mushrooms, donuts. The Staff are very helpful and work at breakfast and at the pool bar, so get to know you throughout the stay.

The pool area is fabulous, lots of individual sunbeds; double beds and umbrellas or shade from Olive trees. The area is immaculate, regularly cleaned and cushion covers replaced a number of times. The pool bar is great for relaxing, drinks, lunch and dinner, and whilst more expensive than bars outside i don’t think €10 for a cocktail was too bad. In the evening the pool bar turns into a lovely lit up restaurant, and we are looking forward to eating there on our last night, with a 10% discount card from the Hotel. There is a beach in walking distance but the pool area was so nice we didn’t bother, we did have a car for 2 days to see the whole Island and various beaches.

The nearest bar outside the hotel is the Aqua Marine, cheap drinks, football on the screens and Greek Dancing, great fun! The road to the Lassi restaurants is dark, but use the torch on phone and its fine. The restaurants all line quite a busy road to Argostoli, lots to choose from serving traditional Greek menus.

Having visited various locations in Kefolonia on our 2 day road trip, i would say there may be prettier locations than Lassi, however the Hotel is worth coming to for a relaxed Adults only holiday.
