Caveland is a beautiful hostel filled with fun, brightly painted colors against typical Santorini white walls. In my opinion, it is a backpacker's dream hostel. Dispite other reviews, Caveland really is in a great location as it is pretty much right in the middle of the Island. Because Santorini is such a small island, it makes it the perfect jump...

Caveland is a fabulous little hostel to stay in while in santorini. The rooms are excellent, clean and very well furnished, with the dorm interiors which give a feeling of living in a cave. The common areas- kitchen and the place to sit outside are also great so is the pool. I loved the general atmosphere and I am extremely...

My friend and I stayed in a 6 bed dorm for two nights in July. The property is very pretty. The AC worked well. And (as stated on the hostels website and in person) the wifi works quite well as long as you don't get too deep into the caves. I sat outside on the pretty veranda to look up...

I taught a Yin Yoga training at Caveland in September. Veronika and the entire staff at Caveland were wonderful. My students were well taken care of. The hostel is situated nicely for easy access to some of Santorini's gorgeous attractions. Highly recommend!

Caveland is an unexpected treasure! I was there for a yoga retreat and the practice area and views are so lovely. My cave was just excellent ... I really miss it! The atmosphere is calm and relaxed, the team are super sweet (and the doggies) ... and the pool is the icing on the cake. I would recommend it to...

I had my doubts about Caveland after arriving via bus late at night and initially seeing the room, but any concerns about the location or property had disappeared by the next morning. The staff here is so kind (Victor and Immy were the front desk crew during my stay), the flowers and fun colors around the property are charming, and...

My first hostel experience (I'm 52) and I was very impressed. From the friendly, helpful staff, clean rooms, pool, breakfast and the beautiful property! I would go back again!! A short walk to bus stop, bakeries, restaurants and more.

Great pool and yoga deck with a view. Very laid back relaxing place. I also had great massage. Really interesting, unusual place. Nice simple breakfast too. Thira, the town up the hill wasn't very nice, August is so full of tourists tearing around on quad bikes and scooters. I booked a brilliant tour up the street on a boat to...

If you are kind of person who likes to explore how it feels to be in caves, this is an awesome place to stay. The people are very nice and there was no problem in using the kitchen. The scenery from this place is really beautiful.

I have stayed at plenty hostels all over the world, and considering the price we paid and the expectations we had, Cave-land might be among some of my worst experiences. It's nothing but a run-down and dirty hostel far out of town. I'm sorry to say this as we really looked forward to our stay. The garden is full of...

Thank you for your review and sorry to hear about your disappointment. I am the owner and I indeed do care about the property and therefor I spend my time there. Every day the dorms and common spaces are cleaned twice, every private room is cleaned upon request (can be daily) or every 3 days. Moreover every year we are...
