Sunset Beach Hotel NEW RENOVATED 2022/23 is situated in the village of Kokkini Hani, just 12 km east of the capital Heraklion. The hotel owns its name to its excellent location, offering you situated directly on the sandy beach, magnificent sunsets in relaxing atmosphere. Cretan hospitality and warmth but also very good quality of service can provide people who seek for quietness and serenity a unique experience. Because of its central location Sunset Hotel gives its guests the possibility to reach all destinations very easy and quickly. Only 3 km away you can visit the biggest Aquarium of the Balkans. Moreover there is a public bus station in front of the hotel, where from you can easily start for excursions in all directions. In the village centre of Kokkini Hani there are many cafes, bars, taverns, restaurants and shops, for everything you could possibly need. If you want to have a closer look at the Cretan nightlife, Chersonissos, which is only 10 minutes drive from the hotel, is the right place. There are numerous bars and discos, offering fun all night long. I would like to thank the hotel's excelent staff for this wonderful holiday.The room was always tidy thanks to the hardworking maids.Through out the whole week we had been getting all sorts of traditional meals that were delicious.Also the receptionists were always considerate of our problems and the were always trying to help.Once again,thank you!

A small quiet hotel near the beach which was almost for us 😊 The family room did not have 2 separate rooms as we expected, unfortunately🙁However, the staff was kind and smiling ( esp. Soula and Ouisimos), half board tasty so we enjoyed our holiday fully! Thank you!

We spent a very pleasant week here. Clean, regular room. Special thanks to the cleaning women for regular disinfection and thorough cleaning. The staff is very kind and helpful. They are constantly available, they help with everything. Special thanks to Soula and Onisimus. The half board is plentiful and very delicious. We were able to taste special Greek dishes. Thanks for everything.

Very convenient location (15 min to Heraklion airport by car), right on the beach, rooms clean and nice, staff is very friendly and helpful. Daily cleaning for rooms, beach and pool are being tided too. A lot of taverns nearby, beaches for different choices as well. Special thanks to staff members Onisimus and Ksenia - they have helped us with all our requests.

me my husband and 19year old daughter enjoyed our summer holiday here small hotel right on small beach you can walk down steps into sea nead go left more of a each sunbeds either side pool or sme belonging hotel on a strip in front sea which free snack bar nice food drink we were half board I personally didn't like evening meals so went out very relaxing holiday

we spend a week in Sunset Beach, it was our first time but for sure not our last time! We enjoyed every moment of our vacation. The Hotel is small but very nice and on the beach. The room and the public areas were very clean and we were very satisfied with it. The food was tasty, the drinks at the bar from Mr Oni were very tastefull as we could not drink only one :) The helpful lady at the reception Xenia was amazing and always there to help us and inform us about everything we needed. You make us feel more like home :) see you next years my new friends :)

We spent a week at the hotel, and everything was fine! Clean, comfortable, close to the sea, close to the shops, delicious meals and everybody was helpful and friendly! Everyone speaks English. I can offer this place to everybody!

Great place for a family vacation! Animation team made sure we all had a wonderful time, they were the highlight of our vacation. Very personable, encouraging us to try new activities! They truly love their jobs and their excitement was contagious!!!! Classes, shows, games, kids club, and evening programs! Something for everyone!! We looked forward to the daily schedule.

Absolutely friendly staff. We are really satisfied with the hotel. We have found a piece of perfect beach with sand and water like a mirror. Breakfasts and dinners were really great and I recommend their olive oil and white sweet wine Oinomelo. We had our best experience with staff, they were really nice and we were feeling like in family. I attach a photo with one of best lady that we had a lot of fun with :)
