We stayed with our daughter for 6 days to explore a bit of Provence. This is one of the best B&B we have been to because of its good location, the quality of pool, child friendly dogs, the garden kitchen and above all the kindness and availability of Nelly and her husband which makes you feel like home; Nelly cleaned...

I stayed for three days during July 2015 with my sister. Let's start with the good points: It is very conveniently located for visiting Provence as it is just off the motorway, so it offers very easy access to all the lovely neighbouring villages. It is also reasonably priced and a very pretty building, dating back to the 1800s with...

Wonderful place, Nelly and Bruno do a great job at making you feel not, as a guest, but as a friend of the family. I am in the hospitality business with a restaurant in the Caribbean and stayed here as it is central to the domains of Rose wines I wished to visit. The ones I offer in my restaurant....

Very nice and clean pool; rooms are very typical provence; Nelly, the host is friendly, helpful and had many advises for entertaining; we enjoyed the outside kitchen and the garden; You can hear a little the street noise, but it didn't bother us. We are looking forward to come back!! :-)

We spent two nights in this nice place and really loved it. Didn't eat at restaurants - instead we made our own delicious dinner in the summerkitchen and after we sat in the garden and relaxed. Bruno and Nelly are really helpful and nice The only negative is the highway, close to the hotel - and you can hear the...

We will always want to come back to this place, it is outstanding. You are welcome from the first moment. It took only 30 minutes for our friends daughter of 13 years to feel at home with the house, pool and of course the 2 lovely dogs. I can highly recommend this place the only thing you need to bring...

We stayed at La Bastide de Messine last July on our first trip to the Var region of Provence, and would recommend it to anyone wishing for peace and quiet in a centrally located B&B. It's roughly (that is, very roughly, depending on your route) an hour from the coast (visit Sanary-sur-Mer to avoid the crowds at the more resort...

Absolutely fantastic B&B. Notwithstanding that both Nelly & Bruno are great hosts, the house is set in a beautiful location, extremely peaceful and authentically Provence. The Basilic room was great, very roomy and spacious - open doors onto the garden. We stayed for 2 nights while we attended a wedding at nearby Celle. The 2nd day we made use of...

Greeted at the gate by wafts of rosemary and lavender and two happy hounds laid the foundations for what is a fabulous B&B. Nelly and Bruno are both extremely welcoming, the rooms are divine, the pool is wonderful and all in all, our stay was so relaxing, we both wished we could stay longer.

Let me begin by saying PHENOMENAL. My boyfriend and I arrived to La Bastide de Messine a little earlier than Nelly had anticipated. She sent us an email ahead of time, however, to let us know that she would be a bit late on account of extenuating circumstances. While this was little inconvenience to us, as we explored Brignoles for...
