Having come for a family emergency, with a complex organization, we were able to count on the welcome and valuable help of the hotel teams.

Arriving late (and even later than expected due to a major train problem) they were very accommodating in providing the room.

The room is spacious, very pleasant.

Excellent bedding. Powerful heating (and therefore also air conditioning because it is reversible: essential in summer in the region!)

Very professional and very friendly staff.

It was perfect and it helped us a lot, we highly recommend this hotel!

A spacious room with an unpleasant view of an industrial area.
The odors seem to have been dealt with since my last stay (it seems that I am not the only person to have had this problem, for several months, even years), I, however, as a precautionary measure ran the shower to fill the siphon and avoid odors.
A small cockroach problem in the shower, not too serious after it crashed on the floor!
The air conditioning, too bad it is recessed, it does not diffuse into the room (we were in a heatwave).

For TV, no update of the reception device, no accessible LCI (26) and a black screen for "O" which has not broadcast on TNT channels for a long time.

The whole thing is a little tight for an IBIS Style.

For breakfast, a fresh orange juice press not working (September 6), although with oranges in the dispenser!

Little better for an IBIS Style

To your corrective actions for the satisfaction of your Customers. THANK YOU

First of all, I am a loyal Accor hotels client.
Second, I frequently choose Ibis Styles, for the good balance between price and quantity.
Not the case for this hotel.
No welcome drink.
No towels.
No cleaning! Excuse: Covid!
Unable to enter the hotel at night - card not functioning, reception closed.
Breakfast very poor and non - hygienic.
Everyone touching everything.
Garden dirty.
One positive thing: silent neighbourhoods. And second: the flowers in the parking

Although the hotel is well located, close to the island of Oléron, and has a (cold) swimming pool, I was disappointed with the services offered. The family room was dilapidated, on the ground floor overlooking a road with lots of traffic. Even though the windows isolated the noise, the view was really not pleasant. Traces of mold on the walls and tile joints in the cramped bathroom, dated decoration, a soulless corridor… and poorly done cleaning! Hairs of all kinds on the toilet floor as soon as we arrived. I thought it was an oversight but the next day after cleaning, these hairs were still there... making you wonder how cleaning is done!
I think it's the worst of the ibis styles I've tested. It is more reminiscent of a budget ibis and is therefore very expensive for the quality offered.
Breakfast wise, no better. Flattened pastries, a kind of ham and a kind of tasteless cheese. Eggs to cook yourself in water. Too bad there are no scrambled eggs and bacon - the basics in a breakfast buffet! Very little choice for the rest, even the fruits were not appetizing.
In the end it was a short stay and the hotel helped us out well, but it is certain that we will not return.

Staff who do their best (and who are very professional for the majority), but very poor overall services for an Ibis Styles:
- a first bedroom with poorly renovated bathroom, resulting in mold on the walls and the smell of sewage in the mornings
- breakfast with lack of choice compared to other Ibis Styles buffets (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, etc.) and too many people at the same time (times too short)
- swimming pool much too small for the number of rooms, too few deckchairs
- terrace inaccessible directly from the bar (the doors must remain closed since the air conditioning works indoors...)

This hotel is aging, low quality breakfast, broken down juice machine, unique coffee machine for 60 rooms! Spacious room on the 1st floor, poorly maintained, the broken tiled showers mosaic style are from another era.
Bad general atmosphere. Avoid it.

The photos of the hotel are particularly well taken and give a feeling of space that does not really exist both inside and outside the establishment. Apart from the slightly more sophisticated decor of the room, the rest of the services are below those of a well-made classic ibis. A bathroom that is starting to date with an unpleasant smell of urine upon arrival... a sink faucet almost seized... cupboard doors almost blocked and a set of little things that suggest that we doesn't have much attention to detail. Any catering and breakfast certainly ok but in a canteen atmosphere due to lack of space.

First the positives:
- Very nice home
- excellent bedding
- air conditioner
- pool
- free parking
- good advice for activities and restaurants
- Great breakfast with variety and local products
Finally the negative points:
- window that had difficulty closing
- breakfast room too small
- location in industrial zone
- no elevator (rooms on the ground floor and 1st floor)
We therefore had a very pleasant time in this hotel which has many more negative points than positive ones.

This hotel is worth a stop. Quiet and clean rooms, air conditioning, newspapers, friendly welcome and well placed for visiting the region. A very positive point: the exceptional breakfast offering at a reasonable price. Well done... And you can dine there for a very reasonable price too!

So yes there are things to improve from a building point of view but I would still give it a 5 star because the service, welcome and cleanliness are impeccable. And make us forget these details! We forget being in an industrial zone, total calm in the spacious room, easy parking, very decent breakfast
