This site is well equipped for families, we went has a couple in a Campervan, the plot that we had was of an excellent size. The showers were clean but could do with some updating, it's situated near The Port en Bessin from the campsite...More

Port'land is a lovely campsite with pitches in very private setting with great facilities on site. The only bad thing and it did become a nightly occurrence, 11/14 nights, was the late night noise from fellow campers and lodge dwellers! Maybe we were unlucky but...More

Lovely site with great secluded pitches and lots for the kids. However facilities were filthy(modern but filthy). Cleaning was literally power washing daily. Unfortunately would not go back because of this. Washing up sinks were very low which wasn't great for backs and again -...More

When we were there it was sunny but cold. So we didn't get midges. I imagine in hotter weather you might well get midges.

I've not visited yet (due to go in Aug) but I have read somewhere that there is a bus close by that will take you to Bayeaux.
