On the way back from Spain, I was tired of driving and decided at the last minute to stop in Marvejols instead of Clermont Ferrand. After driving around town and seeing the rather dismal hotel choices, I decided to call L'Europe after seeing that it was a Logis, because I knew that meant we would at least get a decent...

When looking for a hotel around this area, this really was the only one that came up and looked half way decent. We parked out the back but there is a garage if you want more security. Gilles who was in charge at reception was brilliant! He was really friendly and we were able to laugh at him. We were...

I arrived late...too late for the fantastcally organized semi- marathon in this village and was desperate- sleeping - even in big car... Myhey-days over... I asked for a room almost before midnight! The receptionist was very kind and of course it's not 5 stars- but very clean, detached shower/ toilet, and quiet.- I could sleep in a very good bed-...

We found this restaurant by luck down a side street. It's entrance is hard to find from the main street. It's always very busy here and the manager is always curt and makes no allowances for foreign visitors. It's fast French and if you don't understand tough. It's worth putting up with this rudeness for the delicious food at a...

In the town there are almost 3 or four hotels. This hotel is the best one with its breakfast and the cook. The standard of the rooms and location is also ok like the other hotels . What makes this hotel better than the other ones is the nice cuisine. You can try a lot of traditional French dishes. I...

We had good covered secure parking at no extra cost. The rooms are small, somewhat dark, with small windows. The shower was good. All the facilities were adequate and we enjoyed our stay. Good for a stop over not far from the A75. The hotel is in the centre of the town, near a river where all the locals turned...

We found this a rather odd hotel - soulless and with total lack of character. Our room was generously large, but very basic, with almost nothing in it. One chair between two people. There was strange tinny piped muzak in public areas, and a very odd lift which was more like a utility lift, with no sliding doors. Having checked...

The rooms are large but basic with a comfortable double bed and a tv. The time we visit it was unseasonally cold but the central heating worked fine Bathroom with shower over was large and worked well Breakfast was very good - 9 euros Located on edge to town centre. We arrived by train which is a 25 min walk...

Please note that my review goes for the restaurant since I have not stayed at the hotel. Very good food with choices, excellent service, perfect wine selection and friendly atmosphere. Have dined there several times during my lengthy stay at Marvejols and each time both the kitchen and service performed with consistence. In my opinion L'Europe is the best restaurant...

Stayed one night while following the Tour de France. This place was great. Our room was really nice and the staff was very helpful. One of the bike racing teams stayed here as well. The restaurant was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel.
