Right on the FR/CH border, very convenient location but there's nothing else within maybe 5km ( Les Rousses) . We just stayed for one night with dinner and breakfast and it was excellent. Food is typical mountain food, lots of cheese, couple of burgers or steak.. The decor is rustic but it's done quite well, it's old but clean, some...

We first visited the hotel 15 years ago when we came for the celebration of the cows coming down for winter in Saint Cergue. Then, we found the hotel charming, the food hearty and the experience truly unique. The hotel straddles the frontier, one part of the hotel is in France, the other part in Switzerland. There are stories of...

So we turned up just after 2pm to check in (email advises up to 6pm), the place was deserted we walked around the place for 20 mins, went outside to check we had the right entrance, walked back in and heard a vacuum upstairs so followed the noise. Tried to tell the cleaner we wanted to check in, she tried...

Hotel is very small, and standing between two noisy roads, so we have some problems with sleeping. Furniture in the room was old. The room was spasy. There is restaurant in the hotel, we don't like it, because of very slow service and havy food. If you syay in this hotel you need to have car or to use shuttle...

The location of the hotel was good. Just a mile outside Les Rousses, it was in a fairly quiet position. Our room had 2 outlooks - one facing the border posts, and the other on the front of the hotel facing the car park. The room was large with a decent sized bathroom. It was in need of a paint...

i came to the hotel with my family, we wanted to look at the hotel and take some photos and maybe have some coffee , the hostess was very very rude , and misunderstanding and very impolite , i had a very unpleasant visit to this place and i was very unpleased of the service.

An interesting place to stay for 2 nights while travelling from France to Switzerland. It is a little quirky, too much wood that does not seem to fit in as it should. The service was OK and friendly. Breakfasts were good and the evening meals were fantastic. The steaks were cooked rare just as we like them with those wonderful...

Stay three nights in Hotel Arbez Franco-Suisse, right on the Franco-Suisse border. Historic, nostalgic and interesting to have a room overlooking the border control post. Room is clean and beds comfortable. Internet connection is affected by thunder the day we check in bu the owner gets it fixed pretty quick. Being the border town's only hotel with brasserie and restaurant,...

An alpine style pine interior hotel spanning the border, and used as a staging post for allied forces trying to get home in WW2 (Swiss side) whilst Germans entertained in French side. This is the most notable thing about this hotel. Close to train station to access down to Geneva. Food and service was acceptable, staff friendly.
