This is a lovely address in the heart of the Sauternes vineyards. Great hospitality from the owners for whom nothing is too much trouble. Comfortable bedroom and excellent breakfast. We have visited on three occasions and would go again without hesitation. A good stop-over for those breaking a journey between the north of France and the south-west or Spain or...

We spent one night in this B&B and unfortunately, whilst we were there the weather was not great, so we could not make use of the garden and swimming pool. We were in a room outside the main property by the parking area, which was a bit noisy when cars drove over the gravel. The room was clean. The bathroom...

Annick and Jean-Claude are lovely. The place is right in the middle of vineyards of Sauternes, looking onto Chateau d'yquem. The decoration and style is comfortable and stylish. Breakfast is something to look forward to and you have access to all of Bordeaux and Armagnac if wine or spirits are your thing. Jean-Claude is also incredibly helpful if you need...

We spent 4 nights here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Annick & Jean-Claude who run the B&B are charming, speak good English, are knowledgeable about their area and provide good recommendations for food and wine. The B&B is charming, exceptionally well decorated, very clean and we received a free bottle of wine to drink in the garden. They have a good...

Our stay here - an overnight stopover en route for Catalonia - was a delight. The owners are really welcoming and take care to ensure you have a good time; a typical touch was Madame laying a table for us to drink our (free) bottle of wine in the garden. Room was nice and breakfast was of excellent quality. We...

Our family had a great time staying here. Great advice from the owners on where to eat, taste wine, etc. The out door pool would have been great but the weather was not great when we stayed here but you cannot control that. The breakfasts were nice enough. Wifi was iffy at best as you had to go outside to...

This chambre d'hôtes is set among the vineyards and offers a good base for the village of Sauternes as well as château visits and wine tastings. We were here for four nights staying in the Medoc room. This is located slightly apart from the main house up a flight of stairs above an old wine cellar. The room was spacious,...

Worth leaving the motorway en route to Bordeaux to break your journey here - or if you have the chance stay even longer. Great location just minutes from the lovely town of Sauternes. We were travelling north on our return journey so were limited to one night when we could have happily lingered in this area. Anick and Jean-Claude were...

In the heart of Premier Cru Sauternes Chateaux, this is a sweet and traditional home run by a really welcoming family. We arrived on our bikes to stay one night looking hot and bothered and suddenly we find ourselves in a cool home with a bottle of wine and a lovely pool. We had a picnic in the garden and...

We stayed 3 nights in Sep 2012 & could not have been happier. Rather than a B&B, it’s like staying with a couple of friends. For us, it’s not just the comfort & location (which are both fantastic), it’s the people & Annick & Jean-Claude are genuinely lovely hosts. They know the Sauternes area backwards & could not have been...

“The Medoc room is situated above Annick and Jean-Claudes office/garage and has a stunning view of the surrounding vineyards and chateaus. The two other rooms form part of the main house and have garden views.”
