so we arrived here with our 11 month old infant and were immediately smitten with the beautiful landscape surrounding these lovely cabins. although we had planned to only stay for two nights we were quick to add an additional night. the rooms were super nice and clean and the breakfast is amazing - and you can choose to either eat...

We stayed here last week and like all the other reviewers had a great time. Reina was lovely. She showed us around their farm. She pressed a sugar cane and we drank freshly squeezed sugar water. Leo drove us to the night walk. That was great fun and at $20 each was great value. You see more things at night....

We absolutely loved this place, from the rooms, to the hosts, the food and the setting; it was the complete package! Our kids had a great time playing on the property and our hosts welcomed them to do so. We had a fun time watching the birds and butterflies and listening to the howler monkeys from our 2 storey villa....

Cabanas Valle Campanas is a WONDERFUL place. We travelled to a handful of lodges during our 2 week stay in COsta Rica and CVC was my favorite. As others have written - it really is an oasis - a working farm that is tranquil - owned by a lovely and generous family. The food was extraordinary, the setting beautiful and...

What a wonderful experience we had! We came to Santa Elena/Monteverde to go to the Reserve and get some adventure at Selvatura. We just needed a quite and comfortable place to stay. We got that and more! Our time at Cabanas Valle Campanas compounded the joy of being in this area. Only a few minutes by car from the center...

We couldn't have found a better place to stay in Santa Elena. Our huge 2 bedroom/2 bath casita was quiet, clean, well maintained, well stocked (kitchen), and secluded in an Eden-like setting. We were welcomed like family, sampled sugar cane juice (pressed while we watched), and toured the beautiful property (gardens, vegetables, bananas, sugar cane, corn, woods). Some of our...

We've been back home a few months and I'm still thinking about Reina and her family, so I know we had a special experience at Cabanas Valle Campanas. Reina's was the only Tico-owned establishment we stayed at and we felt that our trip had much more meaning and authenticity because we found Reina. While they have all the modern conveniences,...

Lovely cabins, very comfortable beds. Our son especially appreciated the hammock for an afternoon nap! Delicious breakfast, including food produced on site. Reina was very helpful to us as we planned outings in Monteverde and our stays in other parts of Costa Rica.

Leo and Reina have created a beautiful piece of paradise, just a few blocks from town. Reina gave us a memorable tour of the property, and we were fortunate to be there on a day when Leo made brown sugar. Reina made a delicious breakfast for us and made us feel comfortable and welcome throughout our visit. We loved our...

Only regret we have is that we only spent one night there! As many of the other reviews state - the cabina are really really cool, and set on a tranquil property. Reina and the family were incredibly helpful - happy to help us book activties in Monte Verde. I can't talk this place us enough! And the Gallo Pinto...
