My boyfriend and I stayed for a weekend and I must say that it was better than I expected. Reina is very helpful and kind, she helped us to get the tours we wanted to take, she gave us advice about what to bring to the tours, even what to wear. The place is lovely, they cultivate much of what...

Valle Campanas was a beautiful, quiet refuge just down the hill from the town of Santa Elena. My boyfriend and I stayed in one of the two-story cabins on Reina's family's farm. The cabin was nice and clean, with a second-story balcony from which we could watch the sun rise and set. Immediately upon our arrival, Reina gave us guava...

We stayed in one of the cabins that had a bunk bed and queen bed downstairs and 2 queen beds upstairs. The place was immaculate, with a full kitchen, microwave, 4 gas burner, full fridge and a 4-6 seater dining table. It is located away from the noise of traffic, but still only a $3 cab ride into town. Local...

This spot came highly recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint! Reina was so warm and helpful. Her tour/guide recommendations were on point and her breakfasts were exquisite! The cabins and property are beautiful and located in close proximity to Santa Elena. She was so helpful in providing us with little extras to enrich our stay. Our kiddo...

We enjoyed the well equipped two floor cabins that separate kitchen and bedroom. Quiet garden separates cabins. Best of all the hostess provides attentive personal service. The site is a little difficult to find. A sign before the last turn would help.

Reina was not only a gracious host for our 5 day visit, but an excellent "concierge" as she arranged trips and transportation for us. The accommodation was spacious and the breakfasts were a perfect way to start the day. The working farm provided most of the breakfast food including the good coffee. I purchased a pound to take back with...

This was just the experience we were hoping for! Beautiful cabins in a beautifully maintained place. There are only four cabins, surrounded by beautiful forests and their farm, where they are growing coffee, fruits, herbs, and so much else (Raina gave us and our 7-year old daughter a wonderful tour). About a 15 minute drive or so to Monteverde and...

We loved this place. We were 6 adults and we rented the large cabin for 1 night. Just perfect for what we needed - clean, comfortable, and spacious. Reina, the owner is extremely kind and helpful. She directed us to some terrific local restaurants, and set us up on some guided tours. Great breakfast too for a minimal cost. Highly...

Valle Campanas is situated an interesting 20 mins walk outside the centre of Santa Elena. The Cabanas are set nicely apart from each other and the family house in a mixture of lawn, forest and lightly cultivated food-growing land. Reina is a skilled, warm and genuine host with excellent English as well as a willingness to humour and encourage any...

We were 4 families that stayed at Cabanas Valle Campanas in mid Dec. 2 families shared the large cabin with 2 bathrooms, and the other 2 families had a cabin each. What a fantastic experience! The cabins were spacious, comfortable and the view from each cabin was fantastic. The kitchen was well equipped with oil, salt, coffee, sugar. The owners...
